  1. I already have the big 3, as I've heard capacitors are just bandaids for a system.
  2. Before I go ahead and do this soon, I had an idea on what else could be causing this. I have a system that draws a large amount of power, often it dims my lights and such, could this be the issue? If I were just to get a bigger battery would that fix this?
  3. and which side of the resistor should I connect what too?
  4. kk, and this should fix this? is this a common problem?
  5. so kinda like a Y the top of the y are the two ill and the bottom is ground
  6. kk, so its an issue with how much current is getting through? And I just put the resistor between the f90 ill wire and the harness ill wire? And one like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/5-1-4W-1000-OHM-1-OHMITE-RESISTOR-R5J1K0-NOS_W0QQitemZ370069680115QQcmdZViewItem or http://cgi.ebay.com/50pcs-1k-Ohm-Resistors-1-4W-5-1000-ohm-1-K-carbon_W0QQitemZ150286612634QQcmdZViewItem
  7. Hi Everyone, I have an AVIC-F90BT installed in a 2007 Scion tC. I put it in around a week ago. Recently, When the headlights have been off, after about 10 or 15 minutes, the screen starts to flicker to night mode, and then back to day mode, and then back again, and it just keeps flickering. When I turn my running lights on it goes to night mode like it should, and then it stops flickering. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could this be an overheating warning? Thanks! Michael
  8. Hi, I just installed my F90BT, but I didn't connect the speed wire. I did the mute wire hack, and I was curious that if I connect the vss wire, will the headunit become aware and not let me watch videos anymore?
  9. i think i have the right post bookmarked that you are talking about, I will keep you all posted on the install.
  10. is it just orange or orange and silver?
  11. Hi, I just got my AVIC-F90BT today, I have already done the mute wire repositioning for the motion hack. I did have one question though, I have read that the Orange wire from the HVAC is the VSS wire, at least in 06 versions of the tC. Can anyone confirm if this is the same for the 2007 tC? Thanks!
  12. http://www.visualit.co.uk/PocketPC/simplesms.htm This might be a solution for the WinMo people
