  1. Just to clarify for the not so bright people like me. The second plug on the stereo has output cables. Those are the ones you need to find In case you were wondering where they are. I know that was noted but just to help. Pioneer need to use the analog cable to get pass the protected music file but uses the USB for control and charging. Thats why you get control but no sound. I like others thought it would all go through the USB port.
  2. You are awesome. It is so important for people to post. I had the same problem and was ready to send it back. The purple connector is what threw me off. Mine was working and then I pulled it out. When I put it back I didn't read the instructions. Thanks
  3. me too, someone please help. I know this is a newbie mistake but I would apreciate it. I lost a xm file under sound. I just need that one.
  4. Hi, I had the same problem, but mine started two days after uploading new music from my iPod. Pioneer said it was hardware but I had a hard time believing that. I didn't want to dismantle it and send it back so I thought I would poke around in the software. Somewhere in the beginning of the forums stickey has the download of the test mode software you need to boot up in tested. It took some digging and I can't remember where I found it but it's there. BE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP of you system on a separate Sd card. Being a Mac guy I don't really understand Windows so I had to copy and paste files
