  1. ok so this problem just recently started to occur. what happens is when i start my car the clock on the n4 displays the right time. then when i go and drive my car for a little the clock sets itself back 4 hours. then sometimes it doesn't display the time at all only the little dashes -- --. what can i do to fix this problem. should i do a master reset on the unit.
  2. i would like to know if there is anyway i can update the software in my n4. I want to do this to get the avic n4 to start charging my iphone. also it would be nice to put a songs tab in the ipod menu. i can't get a new pioneer unit because my car is only a single din. so im stuck with the n4 until they come out with an n6 or something like that
  3. i have a bmw z3 m roadster. The avic n4 fits the 1din perfectly the only problem that i had was securing it. i secured it by pulling up on the tabs that are on the sleeve. i need to get it in order to fix my keyless entry which keeps killing my battery. is there a way to remove the sleeve that is already attached to the unit. i know you can remove the trim. i have tried everything to get the radio out. it would be a lot easier if i could get the sleeve off of the unit and pull the unit right out but the sleeve still be stuck. please tell me some suggestions thanx
  4. i have the n4 with the cdi200 and have two nanos. One of them is the second generation and one is the third. the second generation works fine, but the third generation displays error AO i wonder why it does this because i have updated the software and pioneer clearly states that it is compatible with the third.
