ok so the antenna cable was not plugged in lol i think i must have done that when i was trying to get the i pod to work. but it works fine now thanks every one.

ha ha ha ok i will do that i was plannin on it when i had to go back in there to recess the radio so the door closes but i will go back there tonight and take a look at it ill let you guys know

what should it be set on power or radio? the obvious one would be radio but thats what its set on. do i need to turn av1 from ipod to off also

ok so i installed my f900 in my scion tc and when i tested it before i buttoned it all back up the fm worked great but my ipod did not. but than i figured out the av1 settings thing for the ipod to work...good right? no...now my fm and am have never worked since... so is there some kind of setting i need to turn on or something that i dont know about? iv tried all the settings and nothing!

kind of all you have to do is go to settinigs and than select av settings and on av1 push it till it says ipod than it should start playing music. its a 1 time thing unless you reset it or whatever. you can play your i pod regularly after that.

it has to do with the stock bose amps. im not sure exactly what but its another harness you have to buy for this to go away. i read this when i searched avic-f900bt reviews and it was a review on amazon.com and the guy had this same problem. ill see if i can find it again.

iv read that if yo put the mic on the accessory switch panel on the scions that people you call get an annoying echo effect due to the door speaker right there being picked up by the mic. iv heard of people putting the mic up on the map light piece above your head by the rearview mirror but how did they rout the wire? up the pillar is my only guess but scions have airbags there???????? anyone know i want to do it this way.
