  1. looking for a nice red civic hatchback 92-95 body style, for a back round on my n2. like it to look sweet it can even be drawn out or a real pic. anyone know where i can get something like that...? or if u have one hook it up...
  2. thanks i'll try that... i basically test the units bypass system by going to the nav menu and when i drive (above 5mph) only 1 function will be highlighted for use and if the bypass worked all th options will be highlighted. regardless of speed. i had it working but after 20 mins. it went back to normal. trying the circuit pen now..
  3. yes i did... ground the parking brake and still a no go...

is your n2 bypassed and in good working order...? if so u wanna trade for a new n2 thats not bypassed...?
  6. yeah i did the same thing and got it to play for a good 20 mins. i need some other method if there is another.
  7. do u really have to hold it for 10 seconds or can i just press it until it shuts off and let go. bcs i have the same exact problem as the first post. did everything soder and foil trick grounded the parking brake and still nothing. accually it work for a little while and then went back to normal. wondering if i used the power wire off the n2 to the power wire off the stock radio harness rather then directly to the battery will it make a difference...? y does it work for like 10-20 mins and then all of a sudden has a improper connection message...?
  8. i have a remanufactored one as well all u need to do is remove the metal casing or braket and the sticker should appear. its right on top of the pioneer sticker on the right.
  9. what happens if u soder it and it hits the white or silver part. ? i tried sodering it and had to clean it up some but digged a little in to the board. everything still works but seems like its working like its factory meant for it to work. in other words the bypass didn't work. anyone please help.
  10. take your index finger and feel the top part of the pioneer sticker on the right. if u feel a opening bigger thena screw then bingo.
  11. tried cleaning up the sodering job i did and looks really good i see the original contacts and have a good connection on them. seemed to work great once i cleaned everything up and drove for 10 mins at various speeds ranging from 0-45MPH and worked. went home to get a DVD to check it out in the ride while driving and thats when it said a improper connection for the brake. took it out the system and tried doing the foil and peanut method, it worked and got excited again and when i shut the car off and turn it back on it failed me again saying the same thing about an improper connection. can som
  12. just match the wiring harness colors together. make sure u connect the green wire thats sappose to go to the brake to the ground. try not to soder the 2 contacts under the sticker use the foil method or the circuit pen. soder it has a high risk of fucking something up. the contacts are tiny and the heat will either take off to much or put too much on it.
  13. question after u soder the contacts together and wiring harness is hooked up without the VSS and grounded the parking brake, when and where btwn all this do u reset the unit.? after u plugged the unit in the car and its on or b4 you plug it in the car with no power..? i'll try and take a picture of my soder job and see what u guys think.
  14. yes i did ground the parking brake wire. i have a manual trans too so i don't know if that helps.. i didn't connect the VSS does that make a difference...? i tried my friends N3 in my car with my wiring harness and works great. and visa versa mines in his cars harness and still doesn't work. i don't know y they made the N2 where u need to soder and the N3 where u just have to click the switch. sucks ....
