  1. screws have been discussed and cables and stuff. where are you guys screwing the screws into on the units? I want to use screws and a steel strap with those holes in it. Can you attach a security device to the f series? I plan on getting an old fake radio as well

    mic

Does the bt lineup have a special microphone? i want to know if my 2009 onstar microphone will work on a avic? does that mic even plug into the radio? sry i'm a n00b, and will be until i purchase and do the install
  3. You will need a wiring harness adapter to go from your vehicles wiring to the F700. Because you have a newer Chevy with Onstar, you'll probably want to use PACs C2R-GM11. That will definitely speed up the integration. So do you guys recomend this cable to buy? u think the crutchfield one would be insufficient?
  4. In my other cars i had a pioneer h/u. now that i have s brand new cobalt, i want a ddin navi. i plan to purchase and install a f700bt. This will be my first install but i will most likely purchase from crutchfield for the support. I currently have my heart set on the f700bt, as i dont want any motorization, don't need dvd with a SD slot. How are is the quality on the 700? I have a 2009 cobalt sedan, basic radio. I'm waiting for XM to expire before i install so that won't be a problem, but i want to keep my onstar. I know i need: F700BT Double Din Kit apple ipod adapter, or did
