I originally installed the 3.0 update and everything was good. I tried to install someones mods and thats when I started having problems. Now my unit will turn on to the splash screen and after about a minute or less it just shuts off completly. I have replaced all the files several times and now im stuck. I dont know whats going on....Im getting desperate and about to buy a X910bt if I cant fix this real real soon.

I have read and read and read and tried everything everyone has suggested. Is there a way someone can tell me exactly what should appear in the My Flash Disk Folder and then the sub folders? I am lost and dont know what to do.

Alright well i downloaded the single large file, unrared it to my sd card, put test mode on the sd card. I then put it in the unit started up in testmode and began to transfer files. Most of the files are clear where they go but some of them are not. I still am having the same issues where the unit will start to the splash screen the after one minute it just shuts down and goes dark. Please help

I have the x910bt file and I have tried to use the my flash disk from it numerous times.

Im downloading the one large file now....My unit will not start in anything but testmode right now so I hope this works. Am i correct in what im reading that says to delete everything in My Flash Disk and then replace it with the new download?

I dont know why I didnt make a backup. I believe that i found a file on my computer that is the backup from the first time I messed with anything a few months ago. I completely deleted the my flash disk file on the unit and pasted the new one from the sd card and im still getting nothing. After I replaced the file I hit reset and pull out the sd card and the splash screen shows for a few second then the unit just shuts down. Also im getting something weird happening to the backlight on the buttons....they are flashing as its trying to start up.

I think the only backup I have is from before I started modding the unit when it was running all stock in 2.0. How do I restore all the files?

Alright here goes. I have an F90BT that I have had since February, i modded it a little bit, had no problems until now. I installed the 3.0 Update, and the 3.01 update yesterday and had no problems at all everything worked great the first time. Today I tried to install a bunch of mods from a post in the Hacks and Mods section for the F Series and thats where my problems began. I installed all the files as per the instructions but nothing seemed to changed in the Navigation like it was supposed to so I went back and checked all the files were installed and everything seemed ok un

I did not back up but i tried to replace the my flash disk with the one from the 3.0 update and it seems like it goes through with the file transfer but then again it will just sit on the spash screen and then shut itself down before it ever starts.

I tried to do this mod today and really messed my F90BT up. I updated it to 3.0 and then to 3.01 yesterday with no problems at all so i thought this would be no problem at all. I installed all the links shown in the first post of this thread but when i turned the unit back on it didnt look or perform any different except it would constantly say System Starting Please Wait and it would restart itself every two minutes. I went back to testmode and reinstalled all the files thinking i might have missed something but nothing worked. I also went back in after that and tried to undo what

I got the 3.0 installed no prob and the only thing that i notice is that i constantly have a message saying Updating VR for ipod or something like that and it doesnt seem to be going away after a few minutes. I have restarted a few times but nothing. Any ideas?

5 Seconds is longer than it sounds, especially when you are trying to answer a call. I will try it out though see how it works. Thanks

I am wondering if anyone knows how to mute the system? When I need to answer a call and am not using bluetooth is there a way to just hit mute rather than have to turn the volume all the way down? When the ipod or disc is playing I know I can just hit the pause button, but when the radio is playing there is nothing that i know of that will do this. It would be great if someone could make a hack that will get rid of the voice activation feature and allow pushing the knob to become the mute button. Also, is it possible for when the ipod is playing that someone could make the knob ab

I have been trying to get my SWI PS to work with my F90Bt in my 08 F250. I am almost certain that I have it wired correctly but it will not program. When i turn on the truck it flashes 9 times like it is supposed to but when I hit the program button it just flashes once real quick and then the light goes off before I can start hitting the steering wheel buttons. I think my only question about the wiring is that I am supposed to ground a blue and white wire from the factory harness. Am I supposed to cut this wire and ground one end of it, or do I tap into it and run a lead to ground?
