  1. I have no intention of wanting to watch movies while I'm driving. That being the case, why would I need to do the bypass with a D3? Should I just save myself the trouble and not bother. In other words, what other reasons are there to do the bypass? Do lots of basic functions like say, changing settings or destinations on the map, or adjusting settings on audio for radio and ipod usage, get locked out while the car is in gear as well? How about bluetooth phone functions? Thanks guys, this forum is a great resource.
  2. Hi folks, I have a 1995 Camry which has a pretty much identical dash to the one in the picture in the "1996 Camry" thread. I'm thinking of getting an AVIC-D2 for it. A few questions: Is the GPS antenna part of the unit itself, or does it go somewhere else in the car? For that matter does anything else on this unit have to be attached to some other area for it to be fully functional? I read somewhere about the need to attach something to the headlight system in order for the automatic dimming based on headlight status to work. Is there any kind of 3.5mm aux input jack (on the front
