  1. I have tried updating to this version frrom the EU website, and it's not letting me. It says something about a Czech language file that's not supposed to be on the SD card. Based on the updates seen on this forum, my guess is that most people don't have these head units anymore. Most updates are from years ago.
  2. This update doesn't work for me at all. It's saying something about a Czech language file not found. Is there a free update for North American head units?
  3. Got it to work. The problem was actually with the instructions provided by pac-audio.com, as well as the instructions I got from the 8th gen Civic forum. The instructions I followed, which ultimately led me to resolve the issue are found here: http://www.pac-audio.com/SWI/SWIAppGuide.aspx?appguideid=342&swiModel=Civic&swiYear=2007&swiMake=Honda&swiProduct=SWI-PS&swiRadioManu=Pioneer&swiOptions=Radio Turns out that pac-audio.com has multiple sets of instructions for the same model car. The link above tells you to press the program button 9 times. The link from my
  4. I am trying to get the PAC SWI-PS to work with my F700BT in a 2007 Honda Civic EX, and I don't seem to be able to do it. The instructions I got in the box with the PAC unit say to connect the red wire to ACC, the black wire to the ground, and then the white wire to Honda's pink radio wire. The online instructions (http://www.pac-audio.com/swixprogramming/showstepbystep.asp?InterfaceChecked=3&RadioGroupPioneer=0&mmSearch=Honda&Submit2=Search+Vehicles&ID=136), however, contradict the paper instructions. Online I am told to connect a resistor between the purple and white wires
  5. I am using firmware 2.0. I would not want to upgrade to v3.0, because I've seen a lot of people still complaining about bugs with this version. Besides, I don't think v.3.0 is free. I was hoping there was something else I could do, other than upgrading the firmware, that would just upgrade the maps.
  6. Does anyone know where/how I can update the maps on my F-700BT? I often find myself driving on streets and/or bridges that don't even show up on the map, and those subdivisions have been around for 5-6 years, or more. The area where I live is in the middle of the city, so it's not like I'm driving on some dirt road somewhere in a rural area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Wow, that sucks! Glad I read this before "upgrading" to v3.0.
  8. What does firmware v3.0 actually do. I tried searching to find out the features of the new firmware, but couldn't find any threads. Can anyone help? Thanks!
  9. Wow, this info is excellent. Thank you guys! I guess for noobs, such as myself, searching IS the best thing to do before posting.
  10. So, does anyone have a fix for this problem other than switching to East Atlantic time zone?
  11. ^ Wow, that's awesome. Thanks! I am having the same problem, but I will try your solution.
  12. I had the same problem with mine. I formatted the card, rewrote the music and videos to it and it's been OK since. The card is 2GB SD.
