  1. How odd...Mine (by my best recollection) will enter test mode immediately after the second "Pioneer" splash screen. I also remember that my "bluetooth" light flashes at least once. I wonder if any of your settings are playing a role. I do know that my SD card is "unlocked" the little white tab is slid over away from the "Locked" position. Also, I have removed any device from the "USB" connector. Also, my "Bluetooth" "off". As far as trhe "Testmode" folder, yes, it is just the one testmode folder. Now the SD card must be a "FAT32" format. The only other thing that I would try if I was having t
  2. I tried it again....and I tried extacting it myself. I got the same error. and when I saw it, I remembered that I got that error on the first one, the one I used to get into test mode! Anyway, here is the link that the guy sent me. I don't know if I copied it correctly. (we'll see) I went back and re-read this email and this link has Testmode v2.3 in it along with a bunch of hacks, so unles you want to search "Testmode v2.3" in this forum, you will be downloading a bunch of other stuff in order to get to the testmode file in this link. I have also noticed that they are doing this a little di
  3. Hey astromanluca, I don't know if this will help, but I was having a problem booting into testmode with version 3.0 and finally, someone said to use testmode v2.3. That worked for me. I tried adding it below. I hope it worked. Testmode_v2.3.rar
  4. Can someone help with this question? Once I get into CE with the Testmode file on a SD card, can I remove the SD card and stay in CE? I want to use the WIFI SD card and Opera to gain Internet access, but I need to get into CE first, then use the WIFI SD card to get WIFI. Also, If I have a CD with install files, can I load it into the CD/DVD slot and will it work as a CD drive on a PC to install files into CE? Thanks, Brett.....
  5. i don't see a link either. Can you repost the link to an emulator? Thanks, B......
  6. Thanks Dianebrat. That sounds logical, because it really doesn't seem to have any other functionality issues. I am going to try what tdsouki said to try also, but I think it'll be okay regardless. THANKS!!! B......
  7. I have a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT with the newly installed CNSD-100FM. I am using an iPhone 3GS 32gb. I am having an issue with the Head unit telling the phone that "this accessory is not compatible with this unit" when I plug it in. I had the original cable from pioneer, and just bought a cable on eBay that said it was for the F900BT and the iPhone 3Gs. The new cable does not work at all, wheras the original cable will get the notice, but will still work 80% of the time. Is there a cable pin-out mod that must be made in order to get this combination to work %100 of the time? Thanks, Brett......
  8. Hi. Can you please report back what you find out from Pioneer? I am having the same issue with my Iphone, and I have read on this forum that it appears that (at least in my case) the Iphone is demanding a little more power that the Adapter cable is not allowing through (or something to do with the particular cable). Thanks!
  9. Have you heard the saying "Garbage in, Garbage out". It doesn't appear the Pioneer produces Garbage, it appears that they make a product that people turn into garbage....
  10. Your post is a little confusing to me. I understand about the USB cable, but using a cable with a microphone connector on one end is what I do not understand. My cable has an IPOD 30 pin connector that comes out of the IPhone and goes into the RCA connectors. Then I have the USB cable. Can you try to tell me again in a different way so I won't be so stupid. lol. I noticed that when I first plug it in, I get the error that "this blah,blah,blah...(I don't remember how it's worded), but if I unplug, the re-plug, it will work, (Charge and play). Thanks, Brett....
  11. I had the same problem when I first started mine. Go to "Menu", "Settings", "AV Settings". Then you should have under "AV1 Input" Choose "IPOD" under "AV2 Input" Choose "Video", Under "Mute Input" Choose "Normal". Somewhere in here should be your fix. It depends on what you are trying to run, IPOD, SD, USB, or XM. Brett....
