  1. Hey. I have a D1 in my vehicle. Can I sue Pioneer if I get into a crash because I looked down at the screen while driving. I mean I did not see any reference to the fact that I should not do that. No nag screen or anything.
  2. How much space do it take up? I hardly notice the warning. How long do you spend in reverse? You could uninstall the system and then the problem will be gone.
  3. The data cable is causing the issue. If you disconnect the cable it will work correctly. But, your NAVTraffic will not work. This is XM fuccking over the consumer again.

    AVIC-D1 Clock?

Not true. While in th audio mode hide the information and the clock will appear. Really stupid that Pioneer did not put the clock at the top. Also, if I recall the clock is alway available in the nav screen. The time comes from the GPS sat's. You have to set the "time zone." That is set in the time button in one of the nav setting, I think .
  5. I know that on my friends Ridgeline we connected the VSS wire to the ABS sensor wire. The Ridgeline does not use a VSS signal. It has been installed for two years and is working fine. Since you did a self install where did you connect the power lead of the camera? Are you pulling constant for continuous viewing and to the reverse line for reverse viewing?
  6. VSS is not used in the 2007 and new models. I would use a ABS sensor wire.
  7. Have you checked out http://www.elementownersclub.com/ ? Lots of great information there. When I installed my D1 I was still able to use the factory sub.
  8. What year/version? I am assuming old.
  9. How do you know that it is not the vehicle speedo that is not off. Do you have stock tire size on your vehicle? If not, that would create a difference.
  10. This thread did not help? http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38
  11. If I have read everything correctly. I should be able to hear my MP3/DAP thru the A/V inputs on my D1. I would have to turn on the A/V for the source and set it to video. Well, that does not work. I am not going to send it in to be fixed. Not worth $200. My other option is to get the AUX adapter, either one, correct? If I missed anything please let me know.
  12. Honda went to a shaft speed sensor. Like the Ridgeline. Use an abs sensor wire.
  13. I think that the 07 E went to a shaft speed sensor, like the Ridgeline. Connect to one of the abs sensor wires.
