All the discs are copied. Even the $23 "legit" discs. They are just discs that are burned and then printed in a CD printer... If you want legit discs, get em from pioneer. Just a heads up...

is this a legit disc or someone burned it and put the cd label on it? For that price... I don't expect to get legit discs...

Your gonna need the old 40MT-Discs if you want to use the old permanent ground to E-brake method. Otherwise your going to have to solder something in the circuit board if you are using the 80-MT discs. If you want to downgrade to 40-MT, you can get the discs on ebay. Nope, all you gotta do is stick it in, and it'll update automatically. If it's still not working definitely try a dvd lens cleaner!!! What version up-date disc are you using? If you don't have the 80-MT disc, you can get it from this dude on ebay. It's the cheapest I've seen on ebay and it's where I bought mine. Your lens might be dirty? I know its kind of far fetched but try a lens cleaner. Its cheap and affordable and if it doesn't work, you can return it! Good luck!

Never mind. I found out that my N1 Lens was dirty, all I had to do was use a lens cleaner on it and it works like a charm now. If anyone is having issues with their navigation and think it might be a bad burn... Try a dvd lens cleaner!!!

I have an N1 that has never been upgraded (I'm still using the CNDV-40MT ver 1.1 Discs) and I am trying to upgrade to the newest CNDV-80MT Discs. I've searched up and down the forums for a simple answer but couldn't find it... Anyway, My question is this: Can I just get the new CNDV-80MT discs and use them to upgrade from 40MT ALL THE WAY to 80MT? I have downloaded the 80MT discs but they dont work.
