The first two items are controlled in your unit's "settings". Push the MENU button top left next to the MAP button. Then push "settings" bottom right....browse to your hearts content. As for the nag screen; look at the rest of this page... Doh!

I'll give that a shot tonight. Is that the method you used, or did you over write the old file? Just curious. Thanks for the response...anyone else's 2 cents are welcome as well

What a great idea for the nag screen! I'm trying it myself right now but having issues...prob doing it wrong. I went to v3.25 "ui_pioneer/common/tripcomputer.ui",right click/copy. Then went to my decktop;right click/paste. Opened the new v4.0 "ui_pioneer/common/tripcomputer.ui". then dragged and drop into UI folder. Now I get an error message "Windows cannot create the compressed folder. File may be in use. (but it is not in use.) Could you please post a step by step. I would really appreciate it! PS: Using 7-Zip & Winrar

Same two issues for me. I did install GFX correctly, or so I thought. I fixed it by going back and deleting the "ABB Evening" scheme in the folder. As for the trip computer nag screen...it is new for this version, isn't it? Haven't seen it until now. I don't use the trip computer, so it is truly a "nag" to me. Except for that one snag...this mod is absolutely perfect! Can't imagine how many hours you've got invested...you probably don't even want to know THANKS FOR SHARING! You're a class act.

I think that this behavior is normal as per design. You have to be in the music source to access the VR button. Stupid but it is like that, I believe. Will check the manual to be sure. No its not by design, you should be able to use the VR in the Nav screen also... Whenever i use Misterblue mod, VR work in any screen but my Droid is not reconize, go figure. I concur with your findings...VR is meant to be accessable from Nav screen, but with this mod...it has disappeared from all but the AV Source screen. Here's a potential glitch... The unit no longer goes into voice activation mode when pushing in on the volume knob. This developed after loading this mod. I would be surprised if the Data.zip. etc. would have any effect on this option as I think it is an AV function. Is it simply coincidence, or is this intentional in your mod? This is one of the top 2 or 3 features that I use constantly to make cell phone calls. Hate to lose it! Any thoughts, or should I maybe re-load the bluetooth software?

Why does it matter if it covers the map? if you already have a route you dont need to see it when it speaks when to turn and which street Because I am deaf.

Hey Alex, Sorry if I seem impatient, but any eta on the update that includes transparent boxes? From my prospective, it's the only thing needed to make the total mod perfect I don't seem to be having any of the issues posted here...lucky I guess. Again, sorry to push you...not my intent.
