  1. I thought about this after I sent it in...One of the problems I'm having is that it does not save the files.
  2. I was able to see the files on windows from my SD card exactly, so I know they were there. I reset probably 1 minute after the files were copied...was that too short of a time period? I finally broke down and called Pioneer customer support, and learned that my unit is under warranty still. So it's on a plane somewhere today from Kansas City to Long Beach, CA. I think there is more wrong with that unit than I know, hence the reason this upgrade would not work. Perhaps I'll try this again once my unit comes back working correctly...or I may just leave it alone and be happy with a functi
  3. Well, that didn't work either. Now I'm going to try the entire file again.
  4. I refuse to give up. So here I am at it again...I don't know if it's going to work or not, but I see the minute counter now at 140 minutes...instead of only 55. This is a step in the right direction. One thing I did this time instead of "select all" is I only selected the FOLDER of my flash drive. So far I'm getting a different result. (Fingers crossed, and hammer put away)
  5. At Number 7. I take the SD card out, and hold reset for 5 seconds. I just did another download of the torrent to SD card using WinRAR to extract to the card. I suppose I can give it one more shot. I can't help but to think that I'm doing something wrong, because everyone else seems to get it right. One thing, I never see where it's supposed to take 140 min. It always starts out around 55 minutes or so, then dwindles down rapidly.
  6. I deleted the map off of the SD card through my PC...I took off HA, Canada, Alaska etc..
  7. 1. How do I delete a map? I'll take out everything I don't need. I wonder if this is part of the problem? 2. When I copy, I go to Edit > Select All > Copy Then go to the disk and go to Edit > Paste Then it starts to copy everything. It takes approx: 25 min or so...then after it's all done. I take the disk out, and push the reset button with a pin for 5 seconds. 3. After the reset, the pioneer screen comes on, and then it all goes black. Nothing happens at all. Just as it did when I picked it up from the dealership. I'm a very reciprocating person...so
  8. After all that, I copied all of the files from my card to the disk drive...and for some reason, none of it there. Hammer time!
  9. It's not working. When I restart, I go right back to the very beginning. Pioneer screen then black.

  13. Everything is copied now to "My FLash Disk". Do I do a reset by hitting the button? Or restart from the windows menu? I also remove the SD before reset/restart correct?
  14. Ok nevermind I just re-read some of your earlier posts One thing I did have to do is delete everything out of the exisisting "My Flash Disk" before copying... Thats what I just did too. It's got less than one minute now for the copy. What should I do next?
  15. I have not done that...let me see what I can find here...hang on.
