does this mod have newer maps in it? I thought I read in another thread that someone mentioned CMH's mod had the newer maps, either 2008.1 or 2008.4

Will the software bypass interfere with anything since I already have the hardware bypass done?

Did you have your avic installed in a jet when you took those screen shots? One of the screenshot shows your MPH as over 700 and another shows it as over 600.

When I am playing an mp3 from the ipod, when I hit pause and the music stops, there is a low volume static coming from the speakers, is that normal? Did not wanna go back to the audio shop and complaing just to find out I am nitpicking.

I have had my 900bt for a little over a week, so far I love it. Granted I have never had an indash navigation system before to compare it to, but so far it has done everything I have asked it to do. I am pretty sure I got ripped off from the local audio stor I bought it from, I paid 999.95 installed. They were advertising free install on all car stereos, so I went there. After looking on amazon I realized that they go for about 500 - 600, so in my opinion he just added 399.95 for labor and parts needed. That being said, I still love the unit.

Looks great, but I could not get any part of it to work. Granted I am a newbie to the avic. All the music in the coreplayer looks like stuff you added from your collection, anything I picked said it could not find the file. Can this only read music you put on your sd card or will it see the ipod? As for navigation, I could not use it at all, still gotta try to find maps. I love the way it looks though, even it none of it functioned for me

/rant on Whay can't friggen idiots watch what they are doing when they get in and out of there cars in parking lots? Some friggen idiot scratched my baby today, I am soooooo pissed. How damn hard is it to open and close your door slowly so accidents dont happen? /rant off Anyone know a good place to buy touchup paint? can the clear coat be replaced? Is it best to get it from the dealer?

Are you using a TTS voice or a regular voice? I have it set to the voice "Jason" which does not say TTS next to it like Samantha does, do I need to switch to Samantha to enable this feature?

The question I had goes along with this topic sorta, so I thought I would ask it here. Before buying the 900bt I thought I read a review that said it announces street names, is that a setting somewhere? Right now it just says "turn right in 300 ft" or "take next left" rather than saying "turn left on 9th street". Is the 900bt capable of doing this?

I know this is alot to fit into 1 splash screen, but I figure it cant hurt to ask. I was looking for the perfect dodge charger screen in the thread to see if the one in my head has already been made and it hasnt. I would like to see these on the carbon fiber type background. with the following emblems: (prefer to use the red version of the R/T) If anyone can pull this off and make it look good, I will shoot you same cash on paypal.[attachment=1]rt emblem.jpg[/attachment][attachment=0]hemi.jpg[/attachment]

Total noob question, I dont see any options in the avic feeds program for where it is going to save data. When I load a picture in and tell it to save it, a pop up says that its saved. Yet I can't find the saved picture in either the pioneer\avic feeds folder nor is it in my pictures folder. Where is it saving the picture?
