  1. My question is if I just care about charging and listening to music, then will they all work.. all ipods/iphones if I get something like http://www.griffintechnology.com/produc ... -converter ? However, if I wanted music, then I would get to a separate cable, right?
  2. Do you make sure that the D3 has registed the Storm? That is the thing that I forgot to do
  3. It's a good bet. Either that or the PIN number needs to be changed. Tomorrow when I get home I will trying registering one of my 8700s and one of the 8820s as well and see if I can get them all married up and working without deleting the 9000. Wait...is that polygamy...? I'll post my results if I get to it. -E Well, I was able to get it working and it is working perfectly. For some reason, I cant send my contacts over but that isnt a big deal since I never used it. Not to mention, with voice command and vlingo, I dont really need to have that either Thank-you again
  4. But the weird thing is... with my 8525, I dont ever recall having my phone in the register slot. It just worked, haha. And with my Bold, I have to keep searching on the avic, like you stated and re-enter my password. While, on the 8525, whenever it was near, it would auto connect. Nor was my Bold in the registered slot too Hopefully, I can just change the PIN and have it work like my old phone
  5. Thank-you eheisig for having a step-by-step directions on how you got it to work. The old phone on my Avic is my 8525 so maybe it was having a similar problem to your old BB. I really want to go out to my car right now and try this but I need to wake up early tomorrow, lol.
  6. Has anyone had any luck with the new Blackberry Bold, 9000? They refuse to auto connect
  7. In my car, 04 Mustang, the windows are semi tinted at 55% front and 35% in back. If you included my black interior, you cant see my D3 through the window so no one is the wiser.
  8. I have 35% on my rear window and back and 55% on my front. Also, with a black interior, in my mustang, you cant really see the D3. Not to mention, I *knock on wood* but the cops havent given me shit about having front tints yet
  9. I go to Mobile Tel for my installation needs. Its on the corner of County Farm and Route 64 (North Ave) in West Chicago. They installed my Viper alarm and I have had no problems with them. Also, they are going to redo the entire sound system for my car too
  10. I am redoing the entire system of my car. The guys from Mobile Tel in West Chicago said they will do the entire thing (amps, speakers, rewire, d3, etc) for about 350-400. They did the Viper alarm and I really liked their work... its much better quality than your corner Best Buy and what not.
  11. Is it basically a perfect fit in our console? It would be nice to be able to hide it when I am not using it but if its a perfect.. I guess I will have to take that route and hope that my next car is able to fit the D as well
  12. Does anyone here have any experience with doing an N3 in a mustang? I bring it up for two reasons, mainly. First off, if possible, do you have pictures of an install since, most people say I should get the D for a better look. Also, I am worried about the screen hitting my A/C controls since it does stick out a little farther then the stock radio.
  13. Obviously I am in the market for one, otherwise I wouldnt be asking this. But I was wondering a few things... 1) If I add an iPod adapter, will it effect my navigation? And would I be able to control the iPod completely while the Navigation is giving me directions? 2) If I have my navigation destination set. And I pull out the CD for a DVD so my passenger will not be bored to death... will it still save the route information or will I loose it all?
  14. If it is lightly scratched... you could try to use Meguires Scratch X or something like that, which is basically a black tube of scratch remover found at any auto store
