  1. I'd stay away from the Pioneer cable. There's a bunch of threads around here about people losing 1 channel of audio or the unit not seeing the Ipod after a while with the Pioneer one. I had the problem here and there and eventually I couldn't get the Ipod to work at all. Bought an apple cable off ebay a few months ago and haven't had a problem since.
  2. I picked up a genuine apple one off ebay for around $20 shipped. What I like about it is that it sits in the Ipod firmly. The Pioneer one that came with my F90 allowed it to wobble. I was having the problem of no right channel or even no audio at all. I got rid of the Pioneer cable and bought the Apple one and problem was solved instantly. There is still the occasional need to unplug/plug it back in, but that's very rarely. The pioneer cable was like that when it was new as well. So go choice 3! Go Apple OEM, not Generic or Pioneer!!!!
  3. I was having the right channel problem as well. Then I tried another Ipod as I really didn't think it was the cable. The problem was worse with the different Ipod. This still let led me to believe that it was a software issue. I was starting to look at new head units already when I figured I'd take a look here and found this thread near the top interestingly enough. So, I figured what the heck...it's easy enough to replace the cable and the Apple Store has a 14 day return policy. At this point, I hadn't been able to get the Ipod to connect for more than a minutes or so for over a
  4. Picked one up at my local BB. They had tons of them. Called this morning to cancel. 100% refund and service will remain on until 1/1/12 as well.
  5. Found a trick today... If you change the language, the unit will reboot after. Of course, you have to then switch it back and reboot again...but at least you can do it while driving.
  6. Updated my F90BT today. No issues at all. So far, map screen looks really nice. Button noise much more pleasant and response time is greatly increased.
  7. This is the best comparison I've seen: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=25031 Posted by JasonH... Don't know about "bug" fixes though...
  8. The 10hd plugs into the 920xm which plugs into the HU.
  9. I picked up the 10hd for $61 from Amazon last month. Didn't notice the 20hd...is there a difference? Just curious... I figured for that little I might as well try it. Funny thing was it's the HD AM that was my inspiration! It's great for news radio, games etc.
  10. There's nothing to apply for. It's an instant rebate that's applied at the time of sale. The 6th Ave/Amazon price already reflects the discount.
  11. thanks. the clear coat was my concern too. What's involved with removing that trim to paint it?
  12. Thanks guys. Looking forward to pics and what further info you find. With the suggestin of WD40 I almost bought the WD40 Pen today at Pep Boys but I chickened out.
  13. Exactly...the physical logos that are silk screened on I guess.
  14. Anyone know how I can remove the Premier and feature logos on the front of the unit to make it look more stock?
