  1. Anyone know the size of the internal flash drive. I trying to update my maps/pois and having copy problems. I thought it was 1.7 to 1.9GB
  2. Would like to know if I'm the only one having this problem with this mod, and the previous version. I thought this mod included the red diamond icon fix? Every time I load it though, I have to go in and modify the mulitipoi icon file and change it from 74 to 79. Another thing that's going on is the button beeps when selecting things. I have gone and turned the setting off but the sounds still continue. I suppose I could go in and delete the sound files but I don't see I would need to.
  3. No one has an answer to this. I find it hard to believe. I have since loaded Diaftia's V2 Mod. Before loading it I blew my Flashdisk on the unit and reloaded a clean 3.01 backup with no mods. After that, I updated to the current maps, poi, dem files, buildings etc. The only buildings that show are the default ones still. What am I missing here. I have the newest hacked ezrider and Generic License file that is included in Diaftia mod.
  4. Can someone tell me the max it will hold. Thx
  5. Got a quick question. I noticed that all your screen shots are in 2D mode. Does this mod have a 3D mode view I'm sure it does and would like to see what it looks like. Also does your mod have the scheme files and building textures with it as well. I'm really digging the way it looks. Keep up the great work
  6. It sounds like you where trying to update the WINCE correct and bricked it? I take it you didn't make a back-up copy of your unit first? You will need to search for a 2.0 WINCE and Flashdisk on this site. Then follow the same procedures to reload that back to the original settings. I have done this once before and was able to revert back. No need to worry you'll get it fixed. Here are a couple of links to look at. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25817 http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=27590
  7. I have the most current Building files loaded from the 2009.6 package. When driving into downtown St.Louis on my daily commute the only texture showing on the buildings appear to be the ones that came loaded by default. I have a lot of other 3D buildings showing but they have no texture they are just gray. Does this relate to not having an updated scheme file to show this or something else?
  8. Anyone have the newest file or a link to it. The most current one I found has a file extension of .stxt when extracted. I tried to open it but it doesn't open and I tried to rename to .txt like the current one I'm using. Anyone using the one I'm talking about? If so I guess you just dumped it in the correct location and it worked?
  9. Can anyone tell me what the .DEM files or used for. I think they have something to do with better map resolution, maybe. Anyways, do I need to keep the 118 mb US dem file if I want to use the NorthAmerica_low_2008_03_25.dem file that is 181mb since it covers the same region or not. I 'm starting to run out of space and have files in the DEM folder that aren't needed.
  10. Hopefully you made a copy of the original "2.0 MYFlashDisk" before you started modding the unit. If not, you will need to obtain a copy on this forum somewhere. Boot into testmode and blow away your current "MyFlashDisk" then copy the 2.0 back over in its place. Why are you sending the unit in for repair? In my opinion it would have to be on fire before I sent it to Pioneer for them to fix it. Pioneer is clueless when it comes to fixing anything on this unit. All they are probably going to do is reload the software again anyway.
  11. Anyone have a good link for these maps. These links for rapidshare or horrible. Anyone have these posted on megaupload or similar site. Would like to download them in a few hrs instead of a few weeks. Thanks
  12. Yeah, that's the standard response from the clueless first responder. I think I talked to that joker as well one time. They are just a waste of time and a money grab operation.
  13. Actually, I've posted a number of times my smart solution to my particular problem. But, one cannot have a smart solution until one knows the cause of the problem. And, just going out and buying a new cable when there is a good chance nothing is wrong with the present one is the opposite of smart, often referred to as stupid. It is called troubleshooting and the process of elimination. The cable was/is the cause of the problem like I said.
  14. Here ya go. You will need to use a mini usb cable for charging. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21221
  15. You ask and you shall receive: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21221 You will also need a mini to usb cable that plugs in on the under side of the cable. So it can charge it.
