Yes. I use the iphone solely for hands free calling, and have a 5th Gen ipod for music. iPhone has no problems with 3.0 & F700

Philler, Thanks for posting this, i will put it on my systme this wek and post pictures. As for the ipod icon, i personally like the current one for iPod in the AV menu. Have you ever considered the iphone youtube icon for AV sources in the top menu ?? i guess it depends if you will watch video or not..but i thought about using the youtube icon for A/V (might look cool) Thanks again

Absolute major props go out to matt1212 & tia... I am not sure which of the solutions actually fixed it..but i know the combination got me back up and running. i will outline the issue i had and the steps i took to resolve it, so that it may help someone else. Issues: System would boot up, show the splash screen and then the screen would just go blank. the button lights remained lit (but not in the custom color i selected) and i could press menu or eject and it would work. The system also played CD's and such but would not show anything on the screen Fix: 1. Cried like a

Although i have never timed it, mine takes roughly around 1 minute to fully boot up, including pairing to my phone. With that said, it usually starts playing my last music source within 10-15 seconds, so i do not feel that it is as painful as others might

Hey guys i picked up a rocketfish iPod cable for my f700 as i could not find any other iPod/composite cables when i was looking. The ipod controls all work great, but there is no video or sound (yes i checked the cables are connected properly) i am using a 5Gen iPod video Any suggestiones?
