  1. I'm having the same issue with my f90bt. My wife's battery died a couple of times and we've had to jump-start the van with a battery booster. After yesterday's jump i get no sound. I think I will check the harness for the JBL system/amp. I think it might have a fuse in it. Will post update after I get a chance to troubleshoot it. UPDATE: I was worried about the head unit so I tested the RCA outputs on a boombox with AUX IN. Thankfully it worked. My next step was to check the fuse for the JBL amplifier.   2. So did I, but I hate the cheap shiny texture; so does my wife. She also hates that the Metra kit makes the HU sit slanted in the dash instead of straight up. It makes it that much more exposed to direct sun through the windshield. DannyC's install is alot better...what did you use?
  3. Thanks to tycoonbob for the instructions and minifreezer for posting the necessary backup files! I had the reboot issue mentioned above on my f90 and everything is working fine now. For those having problems getting into testmode because your unit keeps rebooting before recognizing the SD card: I pressed the RESET and eject buttind at the same time, then let go of the reset and keep holding eject for a few more seconds. You will notice that the led's start to "breathe". I guess that's some type of safemode reboot? Not really sure what it is or where I read to do it, but it works an
