I have a Pioneer Avic Z1 and recently purchased the CD-SB10 and the SIR-SCC1 to get service. However, I'm not very familiar with the way these pieces integrate. Does anyone know of a site that has directions? Would I be better off taking it to a place such as BestBuy and having them do the install?

Anyone know of a good antenna amplifier that I could try for an Avic Z1? My am/fm reception isn't good.

I took it to best buy and the guy tried pulling in a few stations and said that it was normal. He said that sometimes they just get poor reception. Anyone know of a good antenna amplifier that I could try?

I know this has been talked about before but I can't find a post on it. Does anyone know if there is a way to speed up the browsing of the ipod when you are acessing it from the z1? It takes for ever to find the song you want due to the lag.

I have an Avic Z1 installed in my 05 altima se-r. I was wondering if someone could tell me a good reliable place to go to have them do the bypass so I can watch dvds while the car is in motion. Also, I'm having problems with the FM/AM radio reception and think there is an issue on how the z1 is hooked up to the stock antenna. I'm in central NJ.

The lead is in. Its a blue wire which was connected and it did improve reception, however I'm still not getting the same reception I used to with my BOSE unit. Im positive because I live in a valley and all our other cars can pick up radio stations, but when I try to tune them in with the z1 they are fuzzy and fade in adn out. I used to be able to hear them.

I've had my z1 installed for a week now, and one thing I've noticed is that It gets horrible reception. At first I thought it was because something wasn't hooked up so after looking at it I realized it wasn't hooked up to my stock antenna. This improved the reception, however it is nothing near what I had with my stock headunit. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there anyway to correct it?

I got an Avic Z1 that I want to put in my 05 altima which has the BOSE. I did a search, but didn't find too much on an install for this car. Has anyone put one in their altima, or is there a site that has some directions or a "how to"? Thanks for any insight.
