It might have freaked out or when you started the car it could have overvoltage i know i had a iphone first gen plug up to my D3 and it didnt work at all so never used it

MY AVIC D3 rca's went bad so I order a new AVIC-F90BT to replace it. But after i order it i notice that it says on pioneer web site it may be not compatible with my 3 gen Ipod 20 GB. i was wonder if someone had one and could tell if it works or are just some of the features are disable. my ipod look like this
