  3. Best bet, try ebay, can get an original disc for about $25...
  4. Well I re burned a disc with ultraiso and it verified as ok, put it in the D3 and it upgraded fine, problem is I still can get the deck to get past the insert appropriate disc, go into service menu and GPS program shows as NG, disc shows version 1.5, pretty sure Im gonna have to send the deck to someone to get fixed... damn it!
  5. OK Ive got the downloaded Pioneer cndv100mt it is the verified correct file size (found info on this site), I open it with ultraiso, use the "add files" to replace the existing files and overwrite them with the new ones then burn disc from ultraiso, is that the wrong way to do it??? What method should I be using??? Thanks for any and all help you can give me.....
  6. I tried upgrading using a copied disc, the upgrade said it was successful but when it restarted it says insert appropriate disc. I tried downgrading by using the language change trick and it does downgrade to the earlier versions, will even re-upgrade using a different burned disc Ive used before, BUT it will not turn back on, the only "NG" in the service menu is the GPS. Now when I try to to do a force write it does show the version 1.5 and when i push 7 to force write the % sign shows for a split second then goes back to NG. On the radio itself if I push the menu button a couple times it cyc
  7. Im having this exact problem right now. Ive got the orig. 70 discs, the 80 90 and 100. None will get the GPS NG to go away.... think I might be screwed.
  8. I am doing that, but every time I make it back into an iso the file size is no longer correct. It shouldnt grow larger if Im just replacing existing files of the same size it should stay the same size as the original. I cant figure out what Im doing wrong....
  9. Getting the dreaded insert appropriate disc error, ive tried downgrading, language change, different discs, reburned discs, etc. Has this error. cannot get past it, gps software shows as NG in service menu, try and force program (does show 1.5) but doesnt show percentage increase, shows for a split second then goes back to NG. hope you guys can help.... Ive got the correct remote so i can access the service menu easily.
  10. Not finding where it says how to upgrade your dvds, its not a "sticky" that I can find... Ive got a D3 with latest disc.
  11. Thanks appreciate it!!!!!!!

  12. Using the forum search feature, I saw a post where you mentioned you wrote a post on the D3s ipod menu button working then not working, when clicking on the link in that post it takes you back to the home screen(to old a post?) Do you remember this fix? Thanks...
