I believe that you can do the same bypass as the N2 and this will fix your problem. FYI you will have to remove your case to do the solder as the N1 didnt have that opening in the case as the N2 does.

I have a AVIC-N2. I currently have the vss wire terminated to the black/yellow wire that everyone says is the speed sensor. My problem is that it always says I am moving even when I am standing still. Is there a different speed sensor connection or is this because it is a manual transmission? Anyone have any insite on this?
