This happened to me and it was because my blue amp wire was not hooked up to the antenna wire on the main wiring harness. Also, in the system options make sure the antenna button displays power and not radio. That way it will always be on.

Hey. I entered the hidden menu recently on my N3 and saw that there was an option to change the region lock.
