  1. So after spending my whole day off on this I'm running the Italian version with ryar's tts file. Talk about breathing new life into an AVIC (F90BT)! Absolutely amazing! It runs smoother than it literally ever has. All the audio works as well with the Italian storage card files. Only issue as of now is language stuck on Italian on stock igo and settings files. Other than that this is pretty damn sweet!
  2. You rock!! As an FYI in case anyone else is out there the link for the TTS is still dead, but if you go to address manually it's there. Thanks again!
  3. Awesome, thx! Are there voices included in the package?...guess I'll find out shortly! Cheers!
  4. I had the same problem and after days of frustration discovered that launching IGO from explorer and selecting your language file (it will prompt automatically) remedies the problem, at which point I can reboot and everything works. So simple...but was soooo frustrating. Definitely something to try...
  5. Me neither...and I have tried! Just about given up. Also have the F90BT.....reboot, after reboot, after reboot!
  6. So I'm having a really tough time getting this to boot. Do all of the files get placed into APl2 as is? I'm running fw 3.02 and struggling...please help!
  7. Hey IDT, Thanks for all your mods...it's probably thanks to you that I haven't punched this thing in the face yet. I've had a couple of issues with this release I'm hoping you could help with... 1- On the multi route map all of the routes are the same color (green), making it a little difficult to pick and choose. 2- I can't search POI's by entering through the POI icon on my map, actually, I can search-but nothing populates. POI search does work properly if I navigate through the top menu. Thanks again! n
  8. Yes I did. I should note a couple of things. In the hour or so between loading 2.06 and finding testmode 2.3 my F90 was NOT all that happy. As long as I didn't try to do too many things at once it was great-but once I hit one too many buttons I would get an error message for a split second (could never read it) and it would reboot. Somehow CMH's mod (or most of it) really helped. It wouldn't auto load/copy as it's supposed to. So I manually copied just "data.zip" and "sys.txt". I left out sounds because they're not an issue with this update, everything else that I wanted was still there (think
  9. Installed it this morning and was so pissed when I found out that the previous testmode was disabled-I had almost forgotten how big a POS this unit could be without mods. But just as I was about to punch it in the face a new testmode file was posted. Worked like a charm-reloaded CMH's mod and the system is really better than ever. It may be coincidence but it's the first full day without a crash/reboot, system sounds/prompts have been toned down and sound much nicer (not as sharp and full of static), up until this update my Ipod would freeze up almost anytime the unit was shut down for more th
  10. Check it out. Anyone try this yet? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... CNSD-100FM ADMIN EDIT (JasonH): This update will be released some time around July. It is a firmware AND map upgrade. There will be a special introductory price of around $70. It will be available for purchase by SD Card only. It will also have a security code linked to your AVIC serial number. There will be no group buys or download links. Before posting a question, please read this first: viewtopic.php?t=25031
