screensplitter has a terrible framerate. Tell me when the tvout app works with orb and you have news.

It is one thing to respect and another to be screwed I bought my system and brought it home to find out it ran terrible, with maps that were 2 years old or more. I went online and found the 2.0 update which helped some, but saw there was a 3.0 update i would have to buy for my brand new system. The excuse from Pioneer was that it had new maps included but it was also the update that made the system not run like crap.

Alot of the hacks for version 2 and 3 are different. Another words It will not work BUT you can get the new hacked files instead of the old ones.

I believe the "unpaid" for version was right from the x series so there would be no difference at all.

Ok i will be very clear about this. If you are scared to jailbreak then you will not have very much luck getting internet working. second. Iphones do not have much of a warranty anyway and you cannot get insurance on them so it is not even a factor. Itunes will revert your Iphone back to factory settings with one click which i have done at least twice. If you are scared of jailbreaking then don't do it but if you are going to get internet on your AVIC you are probabaly messing with its warranty too. Anyway Pocket Proxy is a proxy program. That is my thread and no no no. He is still running 2.0 software if he bought the maps update SD card. What you need to do is update 2.0 to 3.0 on all your systems which Pioneer called a map update but in reality the 3.0 update was a huge performance upgrade too. This thread explains how to update to 3.0 and give you kind of new maps viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25751 After that you can update again from the Pioneer update to the absolute newest version THEN You can get the newest maps possible from my thread you posted but not before.

Who said it was missing what? I did not read anything but praise over the "hacked" version that was not so much hacked and more of a exact copy. The version of 3.0 everyone has been using fixes so much and speeds everything up so much its insane. That on top of of fact 3.0 maps are still really old even if they are not as old as 2.0 so its better to use the "hacked" ezrider and get maps that are only a few months old.

Pretty much nothing after you update the software.

None of the files are mine. I just took all the information that was spread around and tried to put it on one easy to read place. I am sure you are better off with the new files instead of the bigger files but i cannot confirm that.

From what i have read from looking around, this is what i have figured out Teleatlas has better coverage for speed limits, and possibly even more POIs. It also shows roads in 3d like overpasses where it shows a shadow and you can see which road is which Navtec has better maps, which i can confirm at least for here. Several roads that are not on teleatlas seem to be on Navtec around town here. Navtec shows things like overpasses without the shadow and may not have as good speed limit coverage. Its really a matter of opinion from what i gather.

Yes this works for 3.01 These links are for US maps but if you find other maps they will work the unit comes with Teleatlas Hacked EZRIDER will work with either teleatlas or navtek I assume .3dc files go in that folder yes. I put them in mine so if i am wrong someone correct me. I think that is all the questions asked so far.

The tilt is in the SYS file and all you really have to do is erase the tilt value lines and it goes back to default. I went ahead and just put the map settings back to default totally which only has these two lines under the map code [map] 2dheadup=1 zoomfactor=110 As far as changing the car image back to the arrow i just went in my old data.zip file and got the arrow images and put them in the new data.zip and rezipped it. There is a whole thread about changing the arrows to a car image. You just do that in reverse.

I changed the car picture back to a arrow and put the 3d tilt back to normal. Now i really like this theme. Seeing the sky looks really good but when you actually try to drive around like that it can be really hard to see anything at all.

Seems it does.. now i just have to replace the car pictures to my car or something that looks like my car at least.. maybe back to a arrow.
