  1. SD card is FAT 32. It can only be read through a SD card reader attached to the usb cord. But I'm not sure if I can do any hacks such as screensaver etc. etc. through the usb cable
  2. My *F90 BT does not read the files on my SD card. I have WMA files on the SD card. The card is formatted correctly because I am able to use the SD card only when I insert my SD card into the SD card reader . The SD card reader inserts inside the USB cord. MY Question is as follows: 1) Is this a trouble shooting issue that I can fix? 2) If not, who do I contact within Pioneer to fix this issue 3)Lastly, can I still extract upgrading files from the SD card when it is inserted into the *SD card reader, Since it is
  3. DonMac??? I'm not sure if you are understanding my dilema??? I CAN'T USE the SD Port. How am I going to reinstall the update? Don't you need to download it and apply it to the SD as some sort of zip file, and then open it on the head unit?
  4. that's for the usb thumbdrive/external or the Ipod. the Ipod cabe (mine came with one) has to be connected to the Ipod and the other end MUST be connected to the usb port.
  5. Check your antenna wire, and make sure it is securely installed
  6. Actually, the H/U I installed came with the 3.0 firmware installed already. I never tried to use the SD card until recently, and only used the USB port for the Ipod. When I inserted the SD card I was trying to view a few jpeg pictures. I didn't reformat it to fat32, either way, it's not illuminated as an option on the source screed. The same is with the USB port. I know it works because the Ipod works fine, and I've read the thread on the 2.5v for the external hardrive. Not to sure, and I'm sure you all will agree, if it makes any sense to make the modifications for the external hardrive i
  7. If your unit comes with a stylus/pointer, just stick it in that reset hole by the eject button. I would try reset the system before I went and tried to reinstall it.
  8. PLEASE! HELP!! My system will not recognize my usb hardrive, flash memory, or sd card. As you all may know, this is needed to get me on my way and use all the useful, and helpful hacks on this forum. Help! Help! Help!
  9. Here's what worked for me, recently I encountered the same problem. I performed the soft reset (i.e map+menu+eject), and once I was able to access my options, I verified that the reverse camera was turned off. I'm not sure what you have hooked to your unit, but you may want to ensure that; a) your audio video inputs are selected correctly (AV1/AV2). b)and your camera is turned off if it is not installed. Hope this works out for ya!!
