How can a GPS be tracked?
Accessory Options replied to Candyman80191's topic in Security/Stolen AVIC's
its a year old but just to clear it up for those that don't know GPS is nothing more then 24 satellite's orbiting earth.each transmitting nothing more than its currant location and time. your "GPS" navigation takes this info and figures out where on the earth it is... those GPS tracking devices need to have a transmitter (GSM/GPRS..i.e. cell phone interface) that sends the DEVICES Location to a computer that records and or alerts you... so unless your "GPS" navigation has a cell antenna it cant tell anyone/thing where its located Hope this help clear things up and sorry fo -

the new SWI-PS (blue case) has the new BT phone and i thought the voice command in the programming as for using IR when there is no Ir..you can do it just takes some engineering..(look into a home Ir repeaters/converters) it can be done just takes $$$$$$ if there is a will and cash there is a way!
