I have a z130bt updated to z140bh (software update) so do I use the z140bh instructions and file or z130? Also, is there a way to install this update in testmode? I have another unit that has corrupt files and will only go to testmode...

Well I tried coping the USER folder from my other working unit to this one and now it says "Update Failed...." with a 10 in the corner of the screen... any suggestions??? Feel like I'm so close to getting it to work lol

Hi Ron! When I went into testmode those directories and the prg.flg is not there. I tried putting a prg.flg file in there and it did nothing which I assume is because the two directories are missing... What I am going to try next, is put my older Z130BT into testmode and copy those files (currently in my car with z140 update installed). Then transfer them to this unit... it sounds like plan but I guess I will find out in a short while lol. Fingers crossed! Oh and no I have not installed any kind of hack etc. on it - not sure if previous owner did or tried to as I just bought it used...

I got a z140bh that does not have any hacks, etc. but suddenly says "no applicable program found". I managed to get it into testmode and I already have another sd card with an official 2012 update for the z140bh I got off ebay. Is there any way I can just transfer the files from the update card to fix this error or get it to just update off that card?

Guys, I hope I can get a quick reply to this cos my buddy who is moving wants to sell his Z130BT to me for basically the same price I can sell my Z120BT for! Now before I get it, I would like to know is it really worth upgrading to a Z130BT or should I just keep my Z120BT? Let me know asap - thanks.

I heard the power and speaker wiring harness is the same but the other line out / amp harness is different.

Hmm thats nice to know - I have had my F900BT for a while now and it never had any issues after I updated it many years ago - I never bothered to update it again because it just worked . However, I wanted a little bigger screen and could use a little more speed too.

Just wondering if I will see a noticable difference in the system speed if I upgrade from my current F900BT to a Z120BT. I also heard that the Z120BT can be software upgraded to Z140BT correct? Just thought I'd hear from people who had both these units or installed both?

I do not like the system speed of my F900BT ever since I had it. I am wondering if anyone knows of any other models that are alot faster?

I would like to know if the F900BT is compatible with Pioneer CD Changers. I am looking at a CDX-P686 6 disc changer.

All I can say is WOW - this update works FANTASTIC and the OP has the instructions right on the money! For those of you who are having trouble, you are DEFINATELY not doing something right - just do what I did and print out the instructions and do it step by step in the vehicle! Thanks again to the OP for bringing the hope for free!

Cmh I installed your software and I am very pleased with it - it works great! One question though, I did notice that now I do not see as many street names on the map when driving - maybe it is one of the settings I need to change or is it how this software is? Could you please let me know what I need to do to get it to show up more street names? Thanks again for a great piece of work!

Cmh, the above "problem" made me hesitate about installing your mod but now that I see it was not really a "problem", I am gonna go ahead and give it a shot later on! Then I will come back and let you know if I killed it or not lol just kiddin.
