  1. Question - why on earth would you want to do this?
  2. Had been using TMPGEnc for the longest time and after the Z130BT update (on Z110BT hardware), started having audio cutout issues on some videos. Finally got off my a*s and played around with Handbrake. These are the maximum possible quality settings that work. NOTE : The video width should always be 640, and the height in proportion to that (ie. aspect ratio of the source video is maintained). A 4:3 source video would be encoded as 640x480, a 16:9 source video would be encoded as 640x360.
  3. Daww! It would be fantastic if this worked. But it's still invaluable as a file browser so that one can figure out what to write on a modified testmode script
  4. Interesting! However, the copy/paste seems to be finnicky. Had to try a few times before it fully copied Navi.exe over to an empty SD card. After patching Navi.exe, I could not for the life of me use this mode to overwrite the copy in NAND Edit : Got tired of messing with this and went back to my old standby of using a customized version of Condi's HackMode 2.x install script
  5. iPod voice control still works just fine. Without it, navigating my iPod Classic 160GB would be very, very painful. To be honest, the voice recognition for nav was always kind of "meh" for me (across all software releases - Z110BT, Z120BT, Z130BT) so I don't think I'll miss it much, eg. I'll ask it for the nearest Fry's Electronics, and it'll give me directions to Bone Daddy's (not that I'm complaining )
  6. Heh, no worries, I didn't forget. I need to PayPal you and Condi a beer each Notes : A ) No nav VR (completely gone from the VR menu) B ) AV Menu (especially for the iPod) scrolls smoother and seems more responsive than before (Z110BT @ Z130BT) C ) POI results are now listed in ascending distance order (I always had to hit "Sort" twice to get it to list the closest ones first in all previous nav software versions)
  7. Pretty easy upgrade. Units : Z110BTs that have been upgraded twice (--> Z120BT, --> Z130BT). Used two freshly verified/tested (using h2testw 1.4) and formatted (FAT32) SD cards (1GB, 16GB). 1 ) Extracted "RenewalIFLib-AUTO-REPLACER v1.1" to 1GB SD card 2 ) Extracted "Modified - RenewalIFLib" (from http://avic411.com/i...de/#entry255690 ) to 1GB SD card 3 ) Inserted SD card into units 4 ) Booted up Z110BTs @ Z130BT - Condi's script executed successfully and replace the units' RenewallFLib file 5 ) Rebooted units to verify that they were still working (no problem) 6 ) Extr
  8. A utility that might be useful for you folks is h2testw_1.4. It's usually used to suss out those fake Chinese SD cards (that appear as say 32GB when it's really only 2GB, etc.), but works very well for verifying that your SD card is fully functional. I always run h2testw and format it using SDformatter before doing an update. @Joe7186 : Sorry if I missed this, but are you upgrading a Z110BT @ Z130BT --> Z140? That's what I hope to try this weekend.
  9. If this'll work with a Z110BT upgraded to a Z130BT, I'm in with non-CC PayPal
  10. Separate cards. So if SD1 contains SD1\blah1, SD1\blah2, SD1\blah3, your first SD card should contain <root>\blah1, <root>\blah2, <root>\blah3.
  11. Worked beautifully. Unfortunately, I'm getting tuner error messages out the wazoo. Looks like I have to pull the MSN Direct tuner
  12. Yeah, my bad on that. I actually recorded the entire process but accidentally erased the SD card it was on
  13. Short, gimme your PayPal and RL addies. Want to send you $$$, beer and hookers
