  1. Thanks everyone for your help. My friend tested the unit and it will not power on. I am almost sure something is fried. I am going to take the unit to a repair shop to see how much it will be to fix.
  2. I am not sure if it is a power antenna or not. I just know that a part of the antenna touched the metal frame of my truck and it sparked and after that the avic-n3 would not power on. So I think I fried the system. Is there a way to tell does anyone know how much this will cost.
  3. I had a friend benchtest the unit and it would not power on. I don't see how the antena could have caused this. So I guess the unit is fried and I voided the warrenty by flipping the switch. Does anyone have an Idea of how much this will cost to fix.
  4. I did check the fuse in the truck for the radio and it was fine
  5. I have a AVIC-n3 and it has worked great for the last three months then today I went to replace my anttena on my truck and when I connected the battery back up my AVIC-N3 would not power on. I made sure the fuse was fine. I was getting power to the back of the unit. I looked over all of the connections and there was nothing burnt and nothing smelt burnt. Thanks.
