I'm somewhat confused. I just checked and I'm still running the older version 1.0003 on my U310BT. I have no POI's. In order to upgrade to a new version with new maps and POI's, do I need to spend $100+ for a Pioneer SD card update?

It has the feature. There have been times when the name of the person shows up. However for the most part, when someone calls, just the number shows up. It's annoying because I don't have everyone's number memorized, so I have to fumble around and find my phone to see who is calling.

When my phone rings and it's someone on my contact list, my U310BT does not display the name of the person calling, it just shows the number. I've transferred my contact list many times, yet it still does not display the persons name when they call - have to pull out my phone to see who it is. Am I missing something here?

Anyone else having issues with the 3D map view not showing street names? Sometimes, all of the street names will appear. However, most of the time, the map will be completely empty of street names. When I switch to 2D view, all of the street names appear, and when I immediately switch back to 3D, the street names pop up again. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the info. You obviously know more than Pioneer based on what they told me. I'll have to look into the PAC SWI-PS option.

I had a Pioneer Steering Wheel remote (model # SR90) with my old AVX-P7300DVD. It was very convenient. Unfortunately, the SR90 remote does not work with my new U310BT. Although all of their steering wheel remotes look the same, Pioneer still has many different model numbers out there. Anyone know if any would work with the U310BT? I contacted Pioneer via Email and didn't get much help from them. This is what they said:
