  1. I've had XM Traffic for years and now moved to an area where it is unavailable so I canceled the service. Problem is I've kept XM Radio and the unit is constantly searching for the TRAFFIC signals - says "UPDATING" all the time. Plus I now get a second prompt on the NAV Screen in addition to the disclaimer saying XM Not available. I turned off all the XM options regarding what to display but still get the messages. Anyone know how to disable the XM Traffic option but still allow the XM radio to work?
  2. Probably not much help, but I have a similar config with the CD-IB100 and all works well.
  3. 2 years old - works great. Upgraded to XM Traffic module. $50 inc shipping (USA) or best offer. Cables/antenna/manual/power all there.

    70 m Disks

I live East of the Mississippi and odds of me crossing it in my vehicle are low. So.... anyone out there on the Left coast want my WEST disk in trade for their EAST disk? That way we could both have spares.

    n4

Has anyone seen or done a checklist comparison of the N4 vs. the N3/N2/N1?

    AVIC-N4

DUH - Early adoptors typically pay MORE - not less. Still doesn't explain why the N4 costs less than the N3.
  7. are they the yellow / goldenrod ones? If so, I think I have a set. If so, they're yours for shipping cost - should be about $5 tops. Let me check tonight and I'll get back to you.
  8. Won't they STOP working at the end of this year with the new FCC Ruling?
  9. Point was several folks were telling me the part was not needed.

  11. I eventually listened to all on the forum re: VSS wires and 2007 Chrysler products - esp Dodge Ram. FYI - I can say for certain it is not the brown/white, green/brown or green/white wires as many have suggested - there is no VSS wire and the only thing that made the GPS work was the CAN-BUS interface. (CHYA05 for this vehicle) After installation the GPS finally started behaving. So - save yourself the trouble and get this piece of electronics vs trying anything else. Lesson learned.
  12. I just had my AVIC N3 moved from to a 2007 Ram 1500 and am having the same problems with VSS, NAV Voice and ILLumination. Did you ever get the resolved???
  13. Just upgraded my truck and had the local tech move all pioneer audio from one to the other. Info re: the vss lists 3 different wire options. Anyone know the correct one for a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
  14. Could be the pins on the cable. It's not replaceable or repairable, so try swapping the IPOD module?
