  1. Ok, and does anyone know if you can retain the factory sub in the 2009 Super Duty's. If so, what cable part # do I need. Thanks
  2. I have been searching for quite a while on the site, and I am not sure if I either missed it or its not there. Anyways, I was wondering if the Z110BT or any other Pioneer nav unit will work with the ford sync system and if you can retain the use of the steering wheel controls? Thanks in advance!
  3. I got screwed by them too, there technicians are HACKS.... I sent my N1 in to have the Flex cable upgrade done, they did it, I got the unit back in about a week or little more. to my surprise, just the same damn thing, it wont read DVDs now, Cds fine, but no DVDs or Navi discs.... BS Pioneer Service.... They fuck you over because they have to replace your flex cable for free, even though there damn engineers designed the shit that fails.... out to screw you any way possible...
  4. Are you guys just relying on your GPS antenna? OR did you also hook up the VSS wire? With hooking up the VSS wire, your navi should become a little more accurate.
  5. Yeah, I can find the entire unit, no one sells the optical unit that reads the discs... and pioneer wont sell it to you...
  6. well, I got the unit back from pioneer, and sure as shit, now the unit wont read dvds or navi discs. Was fine before it went to them, but they call me and tell me its my problem and is $200 to get fixed. Thats bullshit.... I am assuming the optical block that reads the discs is bad. Does anyone know where you can buy this part at? Or does anyone have a junk parts N1 that would want to sell me a working optical unit? Thanks in advance.
  7. OK, my ribbon cable went bad, so I immediatly pulled the unit and sent it off to pioneer. I get a call yesterday, that the tech replaced the ribbon cable, but found another failed part (I forget the name, but its what reads the navi discs) he says all other discs, mp3, cd, dvd will work, but not navi, so I need to replace this part. Gonna cost me $200. I was just wondering are these people full of shit because they dont want to replace this cable for free or what? My unit worked perfectly until the screen died. NEver had any problems reading any type of disc, copied or originals. So
  8. Your sure about that? I heard that pioneer will replace a flex cable on any N1 free of charge, 1 time. is that true? I bought this from a buddy of mine, I doubt its ever been to pioneer, but is there a way I can check, so I dont get a $500 bill. Thanks scott Appreciate the fast response.
  9. Got an N1 Here, been working fine until yesterday, I start my truck, the screen flips out, but no screen? So i close it, open it back up, nothing??? So I leave it open hoping it will come back on, in the mean time I am browsing my ipod (i know I cant see it, but Know where everything is now) have the ipod adapter. So you use the right hand joystick control, and I can navigate through the folders (up and down) but when I try to change tracks (left and right) nothing happens, completly dead. So I close the screen, and the button works... Screen still never came back. Any ideas? Thank
  10. are these for copies? or the real deal? Got any more?
  11. I tried that, nothing... After I hit each one, you could see the button depress on the screen, but it didnt make the ding, and nothing happened on the screen. Then there is function 1-4 and if you try to edit those, it says you have to send a command.
  12. When I plug in the ipod, it locks out the controls (like it should I am assuming) the ipod screen then says pioneer, it charges the battery, plays the music, but I have no idea what im listening too, I cannot navigate through the folders, it doesnt show what is playing, just shows this on the screen IPOD0000 (the zeros represent the song as its playing) Any clue?
  13. ive noticed that too. The best thing to do, once you get to the main menu, just push the 4 way arrow button, it will switch screens, then press enter.
  14. My N1 all of a sudden, has no clue where I am... Its been about 3-5 blocks off. Never on the right road that I am travling on, doesnt seem to be tracking. Went into connection status and everything was OK, and have 4 GPS signal bars. Tried to remove all calibration and recalibrate, not fixing the problem... Whose got some ideas... Thanks Scott
