  1. grounding the green wire to any bolt thats to the body right? i would have to introduce another wire attach it to that green wire and find a bolt..?
  2. Ok i figured this would be super easy....flip the switch at the bottom of the headunit and id be driving watching dvds no problem.....but nope. I flipped the switch and nothing....it still gives me restriction of not being able to see dvds in the front seats when car is not in park....type of message. All it takes is to flip the switch right? what am i missing....
  3. yea its not really that big of a deal, just that i have to take out a few interior pieces to route it ;p bleh....should be alright though. So im taking the red wire and attaching it to the red wire on the harness of the avic correct?
  4. darn sigh.....more work for me to do bleh....im wondering if its even worth it to go and fix it. Or would there be another easy wire near the rear i can hook it up to with out having to reroute the wire all the way to the headunit?
  5. i was just in the garage right now messing around with the setup> camera settings but im only able to get the camera to pop up when im in reverse...thats when the camera is showing picture on the whole screen, but when i take it out of reverse when i want to drive with the navi on in its jsut a black box....what switch are you referring to? and or how to i put my camera onto acc?
  6. Rear view camera works when i go into reverse, works perfectly, but when I drive and I select the option to see rear view camera while im driving with the map on the side, the space is black....I was just curious if there was a setting I need to flip or is there something I'm missing here.
  7. yeah i had gotten it fixed doing that 3d calibration thing, worked like a charm, i plan to get the brain screwed into some board and then place it under the seat so its more secure than it is. Thanks for the help guys!
  8. sweet deal man, thanks for the info, its barely moved under the passenger seat...so even when i move it....which is with very little slack it moves maybe a few degrees just me moving it manually....and yes i did look at the top of the brain...i knew before i even had purchased the thing that it was supposed to be like that. ill try that tomorrow, im too tired to go back into my garage and mess with it now. The unit was bought from a retailer....so hopefully it wasnt a second hand (but you never know these days...) Lol otherwise if i left it just the way it is....id have the worlds long
  9. just finished installing my avic n3 and i must say, wonderful piece of equipment...especially since this is my first time owning a new headunit and installing it myself...also did the rear view camera and the ipod adapter....went smoothly with no problems....im finally feeding good sound to my aftermarket speakers too which is a plus. now my problem is....just today i noticed on the way home that my arrow...or car on the map is angled slightly when on the road....and is now completely perpendicular to the road....its noticeable in the Drivers View option that the road i should be going str
  10. well basically i want the reverse camera to work like it should...but i want to be able to flip to the front camera whenever i feel like it, so from what i read with just wiring the camera up and pluggin the av inputs it should be set to go?
  11. Is it possible to have two cameras simultaneously working? one for rear and one for front with the N3? and if not....what should i look into if i want to be able to make one? like small portable screen with a infrared camera for night time use wire it through the bumper....i mean.....what would be the best way to go about doing someting like this?
