there is a guy on ebay selling the firmware upgarde and 2013 Q 1 Maps for like $18.00 I got it and I am happy with the change.

I think its all on the web site Just Validate what yoiur current version is and upgrdae from there I am doing it this weekend Im on maps 2.0 and version 3.0 My bad This will get you to 3.02 from 2011 Ill still upgarde to that this weekend They are all for Europe Oh Well http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVIC-F700BT/page.html#download_244

Guys I think all of the updates are on the Pioneer site I also was looking for the 4.0 firmware and a map up date. I will be checking my unit this weekend I am on the old Hacked 3.0 Sorry this will get you to 3.02 not 4.0 that is for Europe only on the web site http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVIC-F700BT/page.html#download_244

Look to see if you lost the firmware go to phone and scroll to the bottom if it does not show a firmware version then doanload it from pioneer and reload it That should fix it, but you will be like a new radio so all your contacts will need relaoded

Thanks guys Just completed the 3.0 upgrade I will run this for a while then do the 3.02 upgrade

F90 with old 2.0 I was waiting for the warrenty to run out before hacking. It has for a little while now. So Im looking at going to 3.0 I have all of the files But I see that Pioneer is offering a free 3.02 upgrade on the x series. 2.08 for my F90 So my question Should I hack to 3.0 then do the 3.02? Or just get the 2.08 from Pioneer for my F90 Thanks
