  1. Those are the approximate street addresses on the right and left sides of the street. You can turn them off in the mod by going to the Settings Menu > Visual > Signs Displayed On Map > House Numbers and turning them Off or On. Dan
  2. So I've been using the Project Mayhem III Theme for a while now and was dissapointed to see there were no updates to the theme to make it work with the Diaftia's 2.3 mods, so I put together an updated Data.zip that works (or at least seems to work) with the Diaftia 2.3 mods. This includes the split screen (new bitmaps were created) and other graphical fixes that allow the Speedometer and Speed Dials to work as well as some cosmetic changes for the changed quick buttons and other items that seemed to be modified in 2.3. I don't believe I touched any "functional" scripts, but please let me
  3. A couple for you Cougar owners that managed to squeeze a AVIC unit in the dash....
  4. I think I get it. If I can swing the time, I'll give it a whirl. Although I think the first step might be to install the emulator first.... Thanks for the tips...
  5. May not be EXACTLY what you want, but would one of these work? http://www.usbgeek.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=1107 or http://www.usbgeek.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=1194
  6. Argh. And here I was hoping it would be easy Now I have to decide between the cool Blue Mayhem III Mod with Diaftia's 2.1 Mod, The generic 2.2 mod or blowing my weekend installing the emulator and trying to update 2.2. Abb1 or dragon24, how long do you estimate the change taking (assuming I'll have most of the graphics...and a basic talent for these sorts of things)
  7. Are there any changes necessary to get this to work with Diaftia's 2.2 Mod? I looked at data.zip and noticed a few differences in the files. I was thinking to just add the extra files from Diaftia's into your data.zip but was wondering what the consiquences would be. Also when comparing the files, I noticed that many of the images in both data.zips can not be read by the windows picture viewer. Is that normal? When you add or modify a new image is there anything special you have to do to get it in a proper format? Thanks in Advance, Dan
  8. The nzb file points to the locations of the files on usenet that can be used by some newsreaders (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison ... ewsreaders) to quickly find and download news group files. So once you DL the .nzb, you still need to connect and DL the actual files from usenet using a supported reader. GrabIt is a free file grabber that can use .nzb files on Windows (I personally use NewsLeecher, but it does cost 20 USD). Note that even using the .nzb you will need access to a news server (your ISP may or may not provide one - they seem to be phasing out news support). Your o
  9. Mine actually was working (at least intermittently - I didn't really use it all that much to know how consistent it was) before I hooked up the VSS wire on the unit. Now I ALWAYS get the the 0's with only the MPH feature working. My setup is a combo of Diaftia's Hybrid Mod V2 and Mayhem III (Blue). I'll be playing around with it this week, probably starting from scratch with the different mods and seeing if I can get any combination of them to work (or try and figure out what broke). If the problem is in iGO, then maybe if the module can be isolated then an updated one from anothe
  10. Really nice. I personally would prefer the screens switched (map on right) or the option to do so. Then again, I would probably get used to it. Would this be the primary map display or an alt?
