hey guys, any updates on this at all? i found myself trying to find a boost gauge for my 03 a4 1.8t and cant stand mounting the guage because they all look ugly... then i thought about the avicf700 and odb2... so here i am found this thread and found it very interesting that there were lots of ideas and wondering if it ever went anywhere tnx

hi guys, I was up late and managed to get everything working under testmode 2.2 and firmware 3.0 only thing that. does not work is my ability to enter the navi or system menu at any time... regardless of driving/parked/car off.. must I do the hardware bypass? I tried the software bypass and I can change my POI while driving...

hey, this is what i did on my 700bt 1- i formatted the 2gig build in sd (no more "My Flash Drive" at this point on the navi system ) 2- rebooted system to make sure nothing would load 3- placed the 2 WINCE files from the link in the 1st page on this discussion link on a SD (NO OTHER FILES on the sd) 4- power off, insert sd, power on, hold all at the same time (reset,eject,menu,map) for 5 sec 5- let go of the reset button, wait 1 sec, let go of the eject button now 6- should now see a blue window, let go of the map/menu buttons 7- insert following via volume control (up up down menu

Fantastic Write-UP! it worked 99.99% for me without issues, i followed it step for step and nothing went wrong. What did NOT work for me was the data.zip that suppose to hold the BYPASS modifications... it did not activate the bypass for me. Right now i cannot access the NAVI or SYSTEM settings while PARKED (N + Hand Break), car turned off + hand break and of course i cannot access it while driving. any ideas? tnx

No, one is a 1.5gig 3.0 file system (all the files you need) and the 2nd is the install files (has the system boot files and a modified version of data.zip which is suppose to fix the bypass though it did not fix the bypass or me) cheers

Hi, Yep, i downloaded the 2.0 backup from the Wiki but it has the issue of "starting up system..." maybe ill try once again... Question for you my friend just so i know im not missing anything here: 1) update system 2) upload mods and all MODS in the F F Series work on all models (including the 700bt?) because ive seen only posts regarding the 90* models... correct? i thought perhaps some of the mods would come with the system itself.. but ya, sorry for the stupid questions but i cant find the answer 100% and ive had he nave for only 3 days and all ive done is read this site

Hi Guys, Ive done a lot of reading on the site and finally after trying everything with no success, i joined the site to ask more specific questions regarding my issue. I just purchased an A4 that came with the 700BT but the system settings were grayed out "im assuming the previous owner didnt perform the hardware/software bypass" but thts fine, not a big deal... i can do that myself.
