Hey guys I am having a slight problem with my SD card and my AVIC-Z110bt. I put in the SD card and it seems that its not reading it because the SD card icon is not lit up or i cannot push to access it. It knows i put one in there because when i push the eject button it asks if i want to eject the SD card I entered. I'm confused. any help would be great. thank you. My SD card is a 4GB Kingston

I had the same problem doing the bypass. I accidentally ripped the wire out of the slot and a piece of the metal stayed in. Finally I got it out and my harness looked like yours and I was still able to salvage it. What i did was stripe the covering of the mute wire and put the bare wire into the slot as far as I could and taped it to keep it in place. did the ground and my system works great. you don't need the metal piece it just keeps it place. I didnt read all the comments so maybe this doesnt help at all but good luck.

you said it was for windows mobile right? BB does not use that operating system but I will try.

You guys were right. I tried my girls iphone 3gs and it works fine. i hate black berry. so in that case i will update my blackberry but its pretty up to date i think. any other suggestions? On the bright side, at least my unit isnt defective.

oh yeah When i try to make a phone call on the screen it goes to the map and then the screen says the phone call was disconnected. when I get in incoming phone call i push the button to answer but the call still rings. the system makes a noise acknowledging I pushed the button but does not answer the call

Okay so I have been having a problem making phone calls. If I make the phone calls from my blackberry 9630 it works through the avic-z110bt. But I cannot answer phone calls, hang up phone calls, or even make phone calls via the screen of the avic-z110bt. Another annoying thing is that when I make a phone call via my cellphone it works throught the speakers of my call but i cant hang up. The avic-z110bt still thinks i'm on the phone call because the window doesnt close. I have to disconnect the blu tooth so that the window closes. HELP ME! Do I have a defective unit?\ Everything el

helps alot thank you. I have noticed that on some screens you cannot use the voice control. I do see the v symbol and did not know what it meant. thank you for clearing that up.

how do you program it? I did the by pass does that have anything to do with it?

I just installed my unit with the steering wheel controls. so far everything works like a dream the only question i have is about the voice commands. Sometimes I will push the button to do voice control and nothing happens. Is there certain times the voice control will not work? it wont work every time I push it. has anyone else had problems like this?

nice thank you. last question will the avic-z110bt power 6.5 separates with tweeters and two 6x9's in the back or do i need to get an amplifier for that

Ok. I have another question. this might be a dumb one but what the hell. Can you sync more than one cell phone to the z110bt or does it have to be one at a time. Im sure you can not make phone calls with both at the same time but in the memory can there be more than one cell phone.

Hello, I am hoping that someone can help me out so that I can maintain the steering wheel controls of my car after installing the new AVIC-Z110BT. I have been hearing that PAC SWIPS is the adapter I need, but I have been hearing mixed signals. Does anyone know for sure if that is the best one or if there is another I should purchase. thanks
