When I get into CE, no matter how hard I try or what kind of stylus device I use, I cannot click on anything in the top menu pane (File, Edit, etc). In order to install the 3.0 mod, I had to use the drop and drag technique. I now want to do Diaftia's mod and I can't delete the files at the end of the guide because I can't access the delete command from the top menu, any suggestions?. BTW, everything else in CE is clickable. Thanks!

Finally after the the third time of recopying the flash, I now have my voices and all is well. Not sure what the deal was, but it was pretty weird. Thanks to all that contributed your help on this thread!

My VBT folder is the correct size as you mentioned. Is there anywhere else that could be causing this issue?. On one the above posts it says that my ATT might be muted, I'm not sure where that is because I've looking all over the radio for that setting and found nothing, it's not under audio settings.

re-copying the VBT File did not work, still no voice, anyone have any other suggestions, everything is great on the update, just need to get my voices working. does anyone have just a good vbt file posted?

it's the forum version of 3.0, and shouldn't that folder already be copied over when I did the install since it is on the dump package?. The voices are there for me, they just don't speak, maybe copying the over again will do it. Thanks!

After two days of trying to get my 900BT to update, I was finally succesful, and everything works fine except the voices for navigation are present but do not speak, it interrupts my radio when I need to turn, but it's a blank sound and no actual voice, any suggestions?

I wish it were $69 in the U.S., but it's a $120 here, I tried to order from the Pioneer Canadian website but it would not let me, it said I had to use the U.S. site. Do you know if I bought the update now if it would install over my whole mess that I created?

I did the 3.0 upgrade posted on this forum on my 900BT and everything went as according to the guide and was successful , but when I went to boot it up, my splash screen hangs for 10 seconds or so and then the unit powers off, it will not function at all, am I bricked? Also I thought had my flash drive backed up, but it wasn't, so I don't have my original flash files. Any suggestions?, because I'm freaking out here. Thanks!

Thanks for your help. The update you have posted is the one I used, what happened was after I got the blue screen, i put in the up, up, down, menu, left, right thing, the menu would come up, but it would only stay on for 5 seconds then it went black and I would have to reboot. I tried it over and over and kept giving only 5 seconds, which obviously prevented me from updating the file via SD. Have you heard of this and do you have a solution? Also, when I get the mods, do I load them through this method or some other way? Thanks again, Rob

I tried to install 3.0 (hack) with no success, just for the better map look. All I'm trying to do is get a better map interface and some other bells and whistles via mods, can this be done in version 2? I noticed there are mods to do what I want, so my question is What mods would you recommend and how do I install them?, this will be my first time modding. I have a 900BT with 01.00060 map and version 2.100000, so the simplest way would be greatly appreciated. I agree!! You will void the warranty if you have the 3.0 update on your unit without it being registered with a device ID that you get from a legit upgrade. The hack that is listed in this forum is there to help those that had problems with their legit upgrade which has happened if your unit is modded. The hacked version reformats and erases your entire drive wheras the legit version just installs the new firmware which can run into conflicts if you have a ton of mods on it. If you purchase the legit upgrade and then install the hacked version, that is ok as you have already purchased the soft

Ok, I have read and read, and tried to download the 3.0 hack from itchycom which is not there as you know, so I'm sorry to ask these questions, but I'm stuck and don't want brick my 900bT and I keep reading all kind's of different solutions and I'm not sure which one to do. please keep in mind, my tech skills are average, so newbie talk please. All I want to do is install 3.0 to a 900BT currently with version 2.10000, and map 01.00060 What is currently the easiest way to go about this?, like I said I can't find the hack version, if anyone knows of one could you give me the file name to
