  1. Thanks Oldergeek. That's exactly what I did! I have never seen a nav system, even a $59 refurbed TomTom that didn't have this feature. Even my crappy 2012 Toyota factory nav does it, which, until this Pioneer unit, I considered to be the worst nav ever IMO. Pioneer needs to get a clue and fix this. It can't be that hard. As it stands now, I've bought my last Pioneer product.
  2. That's really disappointing. I guess I should have done more research. Anybody know of any hacks or mods to deal with this?
  3. I have an X710BT in another car and I like it welI enough, so I bought a new X950BH for another car. During my first road trip (Michigan to Colorado and back), I came to realize that there doesn't seem to be an option to search for a POI along the active route. Maybe I'm just missing something. I can't imagine that someone would build a nav system without that capability. It sucks when you're trying to find a gas station along the interstate and you have to figure out whether they're ahead, behind, or buried somewhere in a town off the highway. Any ideas?
  4. This worked for me on my X950BH. I got the parking brake message once. (so far, after about a dozen start-ups).
  5. I ordered the knob Saturday night and had it on Wednesday! Great service and a good looking product. Thanks very much.
