  1. So the other week I notice my Z110 is no longer recognizing VR commands for address book calls. I'm running 110 with the new firmware update (inc. bluetooth) via SD card installs. The commands worked fine after install, but it just recently stopped. I have an iPhone 4.0 running 4.0.1 (I'm going to update to new 4.2 later tonight). Also, I'm aware that you need to hit "OK" before your Bluetooth connects, which I always do. Is this a known bug that someone has a resolution for? My address book is definitely coming across and syncs my contacts. As when I dial it will show up (granted,
  2. Considering I had the same issue with my old 3G and now the same problem with a brand new iPhone 4, I don't think restoring is going to resolve the issue. Like I said, it works fine the very first time it re-syncs up for 5-7 minutes, but the quick subsequent syncs don't seem to take. Oh well, I'm fine without the functionality, just wondering if anyone else has this issue and came up with a resolution.
  3. Yeah, I know you have to hit the OK button before your phone connects. I do that first thing when I get in the car. My BT voice commands work fine if I want to call someone, it's the iPod commands that aren't recognized.
  4. Anyone else have this problem? My unit will run it's initial VR scan and then I can voice command albums, etc., but on subsequent scans (before I update my iPhone iTunes library again, the ones that take a few seconds) the VR system never seems to be able to recognize anything. Is this a problem for anyone else? I've basically turned it off as it's useless to me at this point.
  5. I was experiencing the same problem with the XM scroll wheel disappearing, but I figured out the issue: The scroll wheel for presets only appears IF YOU ARE ON A PRESET STATION. If you are not on a preset station, then it just shows a static image of the current station. Figured this out as I listen to Howard on the West Coast so I have Howard 101 as a favorite, but after the morning I listen to Howard 100 (not a preset). In going back between the two I realized I had the wheel when I was on 101 but not on 100. That seems to be the issue.
  6. I just upgraded over the weekend and am extremely happy that I did. At first I wasn't sure it would be worth it, but the improvements to the UI are worth the price alone. Here are a quick few bullet points: Source navigation - So simple, yet such an improvement. Just having the sources on the left side whenever you have an audio source open makes switching between sources a breeze. Ipod/phone controls - A million light years better. You can actually toggle from shuffle from the main screen (finally!). I like being able to navigate a playlist from the scroll wheel. Just about everything
  7. Nevermind, I have sorted it out. I guess it was connecting, but it's very unintuitive. You have to click on of the icons to go to your stations, etc. I would have thought it would have just started playing when you plug it in. All my stations were indeed there.
  8. So just got my 120 update for the 110. So far so good. Really like the improved UI. My only issue thus far is that I can't get the PandoraLink app to work. I'm using the iPhone 4 with the latest 4.0.1 firmware (though couldn't get it working with 4.0.0 either). Basically, I start up the PandoraLink app, it shows that I should connect it to "Pioneer", I do so, and the HU goes to the Pandora screen, but everything is blank. I have Pandora installed on my iPhone and am logged in. I've tried all different combos of when to connect, having Pandora already running in the background, etc.
  9. Thanks, Stang. I was searching by z110 or z120 and upgrade and what not and I was getting nothing. So can anyone confirm that the 120 update works well with iphone 4.0? I'm having problem with syncing contacts now with my new iphone, and hoping that goes away with the update?
  10. Do you have a link to this? Can't find it on Amazon. Thanks.
  11. Not even close to hitting the limit. Maybe a couple 100. I had no problems with my contacts all loading pre-4.0. It's definitely a 4.0 thing.
  12. Interesting. I'll check, but I think there were people missing in my Contacts who weren't in Favorites.
  13. So I just realized that the unit is not syncing all my contacts on my iphone 4 4.0 (note: I have yet to update my phone to 4.0.1) Has anyone else noticed this on their Z110s? I can't tell the rhyme or reason for what comes over and what doesn't? Thoughts? Is this an issue at all with the updated 120?
  14. Sorry to repost, but my original question I think got brushed over by this weird Bluetooth spat. Can anyone confirm if the AVIC Feeds works with the new iPhone 4 and the 120 upgrade? With the 110, the current AVIC Feeds app no longer shows up in my Contact list after my iPhone 4 syncs to the head unit. Is this a problem on the 120 as well? If not, I'll probably upgrade sooner than later. Thanks!
