  1. thanks narcolept...the whole process from the FX3.1 link was awesome and it worked flawlessly...I have new maps now
  2. just put on an SD card the folder called "testmode", turn the HU on and it should automatically go to WinCE
  3. Just upgraded my HU to the latest version of firmware, 3.02 got it from the Pioneer website. I think if you are planning to upgrade you need to make the unit look stock...meaning no modifications, that would be the safest way for the update to go flawlessly, that's how I did it.
  4. thanks everybody for all the information posted here, without it I would not have been able to update my AVIC. I did have some problems updating as many of you have had, the rebooting every five minutes, the freezing of the maps, and the system startup banner not going away, but thankfully I was able to fix it. I am not certain what the problem was, but I believe when I tried to do the speed mod on my mac that's when the problem started. In order to correct I erased everything from My Flash Disk/USER/UserData/iGo/Save on the AVIC. I also erased everything from My Flash Disk/USER/UserData/iGo/S
