  1. Take out the faceplate and take a look at the ON/OFF switch which is on the top side. It could be set to ON which will keep it on whether the car is on or not.
  2. Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me where I would do this? I have not been able to find that setting. And Google was not helpful! Go to Setting>Region>Voice Language
  3. I took a thorough look around the parking break and only see one light blue wire attached to the parking break. This is a 2004 Silverado btw if that helps.
  4. What do you mean by "sounding out?" To answer your question: Apparently the only functionality you loose at this time by not connecting the brake wire is the ability to input GPS coordinates and scroll through some menus (such as the address book) while moving. In some ways this is better than having the brake connected, because you can use the system while stopped, at a red light for instance, without pulling the brake. This was just discussed in more detail on another thread: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=26051&start=28#wrap Well by sounding out i meant the chime would keep chim
  5. When i first installed my u31bt i followed the instructions and connected the parking brake wire to what i'm pretty sure what the parking brakes power supply. When i did this the it acted as though the parking brake was always on and wouldn't stop sounding out. So i just disconnected it and left it like that and everything is working just fine. My question is does the parking brake wire NEED to be connected, will i lose any functionality if it's not attached? Everything seems to be working without any issue without it attached.
  6. It was the GMOS-04 adapter, i returned it back to crutchfield and had them send me back a replacement, now it's working flawlessly.
  7. I installed my U310BT into my 2004 Silverado w/ Bose and Onstar so i had to use the GMOS-04 adapter. However after everything was installed it seemed that the only thing that did not work at all was the audio, i get no sound at all. Does anyone have any experience with the GMOS-04 adapter?
