the aux cable does not fit into the RCA inputs. It seems the RCA inputs are too small. Which RCA input are you supposed to feed it into anyways? It seems there's a R, L, and video.

I keep reading that people are using the AUX input for mp3 players but I don't see any AUX input on my N2 brain??? I'm trying to connect my creative mp3 player. I would think the N2 has an AUX since even the stock stereo from my bro's Civic has one.

I noticed that regular CD's do not display anything, while my burned MP3's show that info.

this is a major flaw on this unit. It's one of my biggest gripes of the avic-n2.

Whenever I have an mp3 cd in the deck, the song artist names and titles are cutoff. Is there a way to "scroll" this info or expand it somehow? Say if I had the song: "Notorious BIG: Big Poppa", it would show something like "Notoriou." Any fix to this? This gets a little annoying when I'm listening to an album and all I see is "Notoriou" and no song titles.

It was the fan indeed. I sprayed some silicone lubricant in the fan vent and it quieted down. There is still some noise but nothing like the obnoxious sound i was hearing. I'm sure this is a temp fix but this will do for now. Thanks!

Today, the hideaway unit of my N2 started making noise, everytime it is on. It would be an annoying whirring/buzzing noise coming from the unit. It sounds somewhat mechanical and when I held it and applied pressure to the unit, the noise would change sometimes. This only happens when the unit is on. When I take out the face, the noise would go away. Also, everything functions as normal.

if i press it it brings me directly to the screen where you adjust the mids, highs, and lows. it wouldnt let me press it another time because im sent to the next screen.

Everytime I touch EQ it brings me to the custom eq where I can adjust the lows, mids, and highs. How can I select the other stored EQ's (powerful, natural, custom, vocal, etc)??

what program(s) do you guys use to properly burn music videos onto dvd's for viewing w/ an avic?

My n2 lcd screen has a little bit of free play when i press the lcd screen. is this normal? or is the screen supposed to feel rock solid and not move when you press on it?

what do you do with the antenna cable? do you hook up your stock antenna with this? if so where can you locate it? and is the pupose of this cable for radio reception???

but the avn5500 has dual drives whereas the d3 only has one. the 5500 has adjustable viewing angles while the d3 is fixed. im still torn between the two...
