  1. really? No blackberry touch people out there? I really could use some help on this one. I even read the entire 150 pg manual for the avic and it's got nothing about what to do at this point.
  2. After going back and looking at it again I realized that my units wiring harness had the mute wire in the right place from the start and that I moved it back into the standard mute location when I tried to move the wires. The harness was in a sealed package when I opened it so it's pretty weird that the wire was already moved. I guess I just assumed that if it was in this slot when i opened it then it must be getting moved to the other slot for the bypass. Moved it back and grounded it and now everything works great! Thanks
  3. I installed my avic F7010bt last night into my 03 suburban with boes and onstar, and tried to do the bypass but ran into a problem. Because I have boes and onstar I had to get the gmos-04 and got the aswi-ps for the steering wheel controls. I haven't hooked the steering wheel control up yet, so here is where I'm at... The GMOS says to hook it's ground to the avic's ground so I put the gmos ground, the avic ground and the parking break ground all on the same ring connection. Then I moved the mute wire as shown at the beginning of this thread and put it on a ring connection. I put both rings toge
  4. I've paired my phone with my avic and am trying to add my contacts but keep running into problems and have done at least 20 searches and read 100 pages and can't find what I'm looking for. When I go to add the contacts a box pops up that says "send business card by operating your phone. If you want to stop reading and store the phonebook data, push the OK Button". While this is happening my phone does or says nothing. I looked in the phones manual and did some searches but can find nothing. My question is when I get to this point what am I supposed to do next? If I hit the "OK" button another

    Pandora

I found a post a few weeks ago about playing pandora wirelessly through the bluetooth using a BB storm. I haven't tried it yet and would have to google to refind the post, but from what these guys were saying, it's possible. I know you had to adjust some of the bluetooth settings and it may have even been a mod/hack
  6. so just to make sure I did my homework properly, to install my F7010BT in an 03 suburban with boes and steering wheel controls in order to get the steering wheel controls to work I need to buy a PAC SWI-PS? I'm told I also have to get another wiring harness to keep the door chim and onstar, but I don't care about the door chim and don't pay for onstar so it not working isn't a problem. That said, my local installer said that to even get the boes speakers to play music I have to have that extra wiring harness. Is this true?
  7. If your vehicle has steering wheel mounted controls you can use a wired adapter from one of many aftermarket companies to connect those controls to your F-Series. Click here for more information. am I missing something or does that link take you to a page about different phones and the bluetooth? If someone could post the link to the page about the steering wheel controls or let me know what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it. Thanks
