  1. I have the x910bt installed in my truck and wanted to know does the iPhone 3GS work as an ipod and a bluetooth phone? In other words, if my iphone is connected to the stereo with the CD-IU230V cord and I'm listen to music off of it, will it still work as bluetooth phone through the stereo?
  2. I don't if these cameras are designed to be power all the time, that's why I'm asking.
  3. I just installed a Audiovox ACA200 rear view camera with my Avic-x910BT stereo. The instructions for the camera said to attach the power wire to the reverse light wire, therefore the camera only turns on when I shift into reverse. So when I try to activate the camera via the head unit while I'm driving forward the camera doesn't turn on. If I wire the camera to a constant power supply instead of the reverse lights the camera would be powered anytime the ignition is on. Would this be ok or could this cause damage to the camera over time?
  4. If I have pictures on an SD Card or USB thumb drive, can I view those pictures on the X910BT?
  5. Well I just got done hooking up my x910 and my iPod touch works just fine with it. My iPod is a 32gb 3rd Gen. touch with the newest software (3.1.3) installed on it. I only used it with the stereo for about 20 minutes, but I see no problems with it so far.
  6. Can't you use the VR and just say what album you want to play?
  7. Thanks for the info on that cable, I just ordered one to hook up to my stereo. Now can anyone verify that the 3rd Gen. iPod touch with the newest software is compatible with the x910bt? The current software on my iPod is version 3.1.3 Thanks
  8. I just talked to Pioneer tech support today about the compatibility between the X910 and the 3rd Gen. iPod touch. The tech person said he has an iPhone 3GS with the newest software 3.1.3 and he hasn't notice any problems with the operation of his iPhone with the stereo. So I don't think that the apple software is the problem either. I looked into this myself because I ordered the X910 this past week and I have a 32G 3rd Gen. iPod touch. I hope they work together, I guess I will find out when I get everything hooked up.
  9. I just order a AVIC-X910BT yesterday and I have two quick questions about using my ipod with it. First off does the X910 work with the iPod Touch 3rd generation? I heard someone on another post having problems with 3rd gen not working with the stereo. I just assumed that this stereo works with all iPods. Second question, do I need the pioneer iPod cord to get full use of iPod interface and voice command for music only? I was under the assumption that I only need the Pioneer cord to play video, but if I only wanted music from iPod I could use the cord which came with my iPod and hook it up
