yes i tried both ways. My conclusion is that my hard drive is no good. Thanks for the advice. I will give it another try this afternoon, and i am going to try it with the usb as well.

My problem right now is that I am getting the black screen then after about 10 seconds it turns off. I went into the service menu and tried updating the wince. But i get a code at the bottom that says "sdmms fail!!!" I formatted my sd to fat32 and even tried leaving it at fat. So then I tried getting into testmode. Got an error at the bottom that said "cant set mac addr". I kept on researching and came to the uboot test. I ran the uboot test and it said "bad". I got the service manual and my only other thing was to do the uboot upgrade. I understand that it might be a hardware problem

I am accessing the service menu cause I got the black screen. I couldnt upgrade the WINCE and tried running testmode. I have the 2.3 testmode file.

I am looking for these files since when I run a uboot test it says bad. Does anyone have any ideas what to do?

I have an f900bt going through the blank screen of hell. I went through the steps of downloading all the files. After I do all the menu + map + eject + reset thing i come to the blue screen. Then, i choose wince upgrade, and then it gives me a couple of options 0-upgrade sd/mms(format) 1-upgrade sd/mms 2-upgrade usb(format) and 3 upgrade usb. I dont have a usb connected to it so i try both option 0 and 1. My sd card is formatted to (fat 32). I even tried one that wasnt formatted. When I select the options it give me an error saying SD/MMS FAIL!!!!! Can anyone help me with this? Doe

I seem to have the same problem as most. I am getting the blank screen and cant fix it. I need the backup files for the f900bt that include the WINCEIMG.bin and WINCEIMG.clk. Can anyone help? Or maybe help on fixing it.
