  1. finally......some chicks. looks good, keep em coming
  2. can someone do something with UT (University of Texas). also, maybe something to do with a female stripper....haha.
  3. yea, i just took it out and back to best buy. they covered it under the extended warranty. i just didnt want to wait 3-4 weeks without a radio, but it works great now. thanks for the service menu how to.....i will keep that in mind if it ever happens again.
  4. wow, there isnt a switch....i guess they figured out that we were just flipping it. i just had my n3 installed in my new truck by a local custom audio shop and they soldered something inside so it plays dvd's while driving all the time, without having the toggle switch to make the unit think the parking brake was set. works great. of course now my warranty is probably voided.
  5. i found my west coast disc. thanks all.
  6. yea mine was backordered, but it came in about three weeks from the day i ordered it from pioneer and $50 wasnt a bad deal.
  7. Title says it all. Where is all the backgrounds for an avic n3 of sexy chicks and/or the pinup looking artwork on the sides of old military aircraft? Post up any that you may want to share. Thanks.

    n3 help

easiest way is to pull the head unit out of the dash and then use your paperclip.
  9. yes, use a small paperclip. bend the end of the paperclip in an L shape, but the bent portiononly needs to be a few mm in length. Then insert it through the hole next to the sticker and feel for a switch. It will move side to side and you will feel it when it swithes. Then all you have to do is put a switch on the parking brake lead and just flip the switch to make it think the parking brake is on at all times. Reason you have to flip the switch is because the navi will tell the unit that you are moving. The switch puts it in display/demo mode. Of course you still have to put a switch in so th
  10. Thats a great idea, but I dont feel like spending 5 days straight changing all the music I have. It does sound like an awesome idea, +1 for a cool idea, but I will just stick with playlists. Its alot easier for me. I look up the local stations playlists and make mine to match theirs, then label the playlist for that station. I also have playlists for different genres, which I put the music I like for that genre, then I have one last playlist which is popular which means all the music that everyone seems to like or the radio stations play. its alot easier for me.
  11. i bought one from pioneer and it was only $50 + shipping. Just look up their parts ordering number online and then give them a call.
  12. I have an ipod hooked up to my avic n3. what are you referring to? i am new to this, so I am curious if there is something more I can do.
  13. I think I might have left it in the unit, so I will find out when they install it in my truck.
  14. I was in a wreck a few months back and the disc for my avic n3 was in the car. needless to say, it was demolished with the rest of the vehicle in the accident. So I am getting my radio installed tomorrow and I would like to get a west disc in case it needs to reload, plus updated maps couldnt hurt too. I need this disc asap, or if someone knows how to send the info to me and I can burn a disc. Any help would be great. Thanks.
